From what I've read this model of Redmi Note has a ton of issues because of its quality control. Bought mine from a guy in Facebook marketplace and he said front camera broke because of an update. It sucks that many people bought this phone only to get major issues after like, a year of usage. I don't mind it though since mine is just a backup/music phone (thanks to that snapdragon chip i can use my IEM) because mine still performs good, I don't take selfies anyway lol.

Redmi Note 10 Series have a heating issue, it heats the phone for a short period of time whatever apps your using especially gaming. I change my redmi note 10 pro to samsung S24 last month after it died and never open again.

Had this phone since March 2022, Global 12.5.6 was the only update, it's frozen a few times, battery maintains good life. Should I bother updating the system?

Just finally get off of this phone after using it as my daily driver for almost 3 years. One of the best mid-range lad I've ever used. Although nowadays, the 732G is really showing its age.

Have the fear that these things don't work properly.
have the global 256GB variant of Redmi Note 10 Pro so if it really goes EOL i might consider such a custom ROM or i'll just leave it alone as GooglePlayservices and GooglePlaySystemUpdates will continue anyway.

Everything is fine till now, but still I don't understand about this issue when I am using video call suddenly someone called me from others apps, mic sign disappeared and don't work mic till you reboot again it.
If anyone know about this issue and how to solve it please reply me.

rolandschweiger, 01 Jun 2024suppose you're right not to mess with the security app... moreI download the Security app from APKMirror and never had any issues, as long as you download the global and NOT the Chinese version unless your phone has a Chinese ROM.
If you download them from such place, note how the global version has 78 languages while the Chinese one just 3 and also that if your phone is not set up to English the former will be named as the language you've configured on it when you try to update the app ("Seguridad", "Sécurité", etc) and the latter in English ("Security").
Now, if you could fully uninstall it without bricking the phone…
