Anyone who still experience the freeze screen after the update? Anything from just watching Browsing, Youtube or Playing games the screen just freezes and I need to do a reset just to make it work.
Any workarounds you have there? Aside from flushing out the rom 😊

Anonymous, 12 Sep 20228gb ram is pretty much plenty by todays standard maybe even... moreMeh. To be fair, the app crashing thingy happened when the feature first came out. I turned it on, and it fixed the crashes I experienced.
Now I don't really know if turning it off will cause those crashes again... I guess I'll turn it off for now and see how thing goes. If there is no noticeable difference or a positive outcome, and I'll leave it off, as reference to what you said about it shortening the lifespan of the internal storage. Thanks for the info though, appreciate it.

That ram extension uses the slower internal storage as ram thats why app crashes. Also some data sometimes gets corrupted that will also cause crashes.
It will also shorten the lifespan of your internal storage as instead of app data being cached on the faster RAM, itll get cached on the slower internal storage & will eat alot of storage space eventually.

Also disable Memory Extender & never use it! It actually prevented app crashes on mine that constantly happened when I had it Enabled.

Also, I noticed the performance is much better compared to the MIUI 12/12.5. It is not perfect though, I'm sure you can find some forums (xiaomiui.net, etc.) that discuss about this a lot more in detail, so I recommend you checking those out.

However the hiccups I personally experienced within my N10P are sometimes very frustrating. (i.e Front camera bug, system apps ads, in-call microphone bug, etc.)
Speaking of custom ROMs, is it really worth it to replace it with the stock MIUI? If so, how can I do it without risks of bricking the thing? Any recommendation on reliable and good custom ROM sources? Thanks in advanced.

Have it almost a year, no problems with the hardware or battery. The only snag that letting this phone down is MIUI's god-awful optimization.

probably one of the best budget smartphones ever made imo. the fact that its still relevant and being recommended over a year and a half later is a testament to that. if you are looking for good all-rounder under the 200 dollar price point and this phone is available, definitely go for it
