Gaben, 10 Aug 202216-months user here, and still no issues. People, remember ... more13-month user (global Version, EU ROM) - no issues. The minor problem with the proximity sensor i can live with. Some software glitches occur on ANY phone - i don't think that there is any error-free OS or firmware around in the world.
The overall every-day performance is good and the device is stable.
Radio reception / transmission is good (don't forget that, there are many differences in devices) - no 5G but i do not need it here. All other protocols are state-of-the-art.
Camera - though it has no OIS - is good especially because it has full manual control which e.g. is especially useful at evening shots etc. Not perfect but very good for the price.
DualSIM + SD-Slot is also very welcome ... most phones only have hybrid slot. The audio performance is also good - through the 3,5mm jack, through BT and even the built in speakers do a good job.
I miss HDMI out, but most phones nowadays only use the USB 2.0 protocol on the USB-C socket, so there is no MHL and ergo no HDMI.
And i do agree --- the phone is not only good for its price, it really performs well and stable and is a perfect everyday-driver. i can only recommend it, at least the global version with the EU ROM.

Coming from Samsung S8+ this phones battery lasts me almost 2 days with moderate use. AMOLED HDR 10 Display with 120HZ and 1200nits brightness you cant beat if for the price of $200. Stereo Speakers are great. IR Blaster is a nice to have. Fingerprint unlock is very responsive. Im glad I bought it.

Here you getting alot of newer tech like AMOLED 120hz display with HDR10, IR Blaster which was never on a S8+ last seen on the S4. Battery lasts 2 days on the Xiaomi.

Is it worth getting the Samsung S8+ (955F) over the Xiaomi redmi note 10 pro? It has OIS support and I think the performance is better...

I using from 3 months.33 watt fast charging totaly fake advertised 59% in 30 min totaly fake this phone take almost 3 hours 0 to 100 % and also 5020 mah battery to backup good vary bad and also heating problem vary bad in this device otherwise good.
