Probably no zoom cam. Only real upgrade is the fast charging speed going double.

I don't think the Redmi note is focused for games, I'd say they are more for day to day use, watching content and posting photos

I understand why people get mad at MediaTek chips. they do not open the source codes of their drivers and their software upgrade is way slower than snapdragon. by this day I have seen only one phone (redmi note 8 pro) with mediatek chip that gets open sourse community support. they have to publish their source code because android uses linux kernel which is licensed under GPL2 but they act like the license does not even exist. other important thing is usually mediatek chips has worse energy consumption and worse image prosessors. I hope xiaomi releases the source codes. if you will not support your phone more than 1-2 years, then at least let other people do that for themselves. Dimensity 920 is actually a good processor.

I'm concerned about the price tbh. Amoled and 108mp camera... I'm anti amoled with it's burn in possibilities also i don't use camera often. I'm interesting with it's processor and 67watt charging tho.

They are completely different..helio g90t(2×2.05 ghz cortex a76& 6×2.00 ghz cortex a55)vs dimensity 920 5g(2×2.5 ghz cortex a78& 6×2.00ghz cortex a55) as you can see it's different and not even close..maybe the gpu are different but it's good enough for light usage and heavy usage

I don't understand why some people are irritated by the dimensity 920. For those keen among us, this is the first real CPU upgrade since the note 7 pro. Since the note 7 pro, all the pros have had the same CPU architecture, (2* cortex A76 + 6 A55) with slightly different clock speeds.
This is a much bigger deal than people appreciate. The GPU I would argue from benchmarks was best on the note 8 pro.. feel free to refute, and this too will be the biggest upgrade over that. In other words, now would be a great time to upgrade from my note 7 pro. It's an upgrade in every aspect. I look forward to the dimensity 920 from my Snapdragon 765.
When the note 10 came out, it was perfect save for the choice of Chip, I wouldn't mind if Xiaomi re-release the same phone with the new chip as the note 11 pro.
