how many crap phones will xiaomi create? there are already about 14 different redmi note 11 versions, imagine how many there are in total. why is there such a big variety in cheap phones? i don't think that anyone buying a cheap phone looks at that microscopic differences. a crap phone is a crap phone, at that price range no one cares.

Does anyone know how long xiaomi supports phones of the Redmi Note series?
I'd like to buy one but xiaomi has strange support timelines, some devices receive 2 android updates and stuff others get nothing.
So if anyone has some data on that I would really appreciate it.

Unfortunately the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G isn't priced right. The 128/8 option costs as much as the 128/8 Mi 11t, which is a vastly superior device.

It's not uncommon on Xiaomi phones that notifications arrive late and proximity sensor isn't working great (during call screen doesn't go off). These are just some of the issues that have been dragging from one MIUI version to another with no fix in sight.
I'm also buying new phone soon, and even though I never owned Xiaomi and Samsung, I think I'll go with Samsung as it has better screen, camera and faster processor (A73 5G).

I am thinking of buying this phone. It will be my first ever Chinese phone, after coming off from Samsung.
Is there anything I should know beforehand? Is the quality good and are there any problems with Android on Chinese phones? All I really want is smooth app navigation and will use it mainly for media (video watching and taking pictures).

Its a niche thing todo while common folks dont care about custom roms.

Anonymous, 23 Mar 2022Looks an awful lot like the Mi 10T Pro 5G, but with only 10... moreredmi not 11 pro 5g has much better reception because it has 19 internet bands, and it is 5g as well ,but has no 4k video and the processor is 695 in comaprison ith redmi note 10 pro, but I still prefer redmi note 11 pro 5g ,because of its 5g, more internet bands and 67 wat fast charging.

With this model and the Snapdragon processor, you can install the debloated Xiaomi EU rom. You can't do that with the Mediatek Dimensity 920 processor. That, by itself, is reason enough for me to get this version.
