Do you guys experience issues on the latest updates like MIUI 14.0.14? I'm thinking if I should update my phone. My version is currently in MIUI 14.0.7

As mutch as i suport Huawei, the more i start tot dislike Xiaomi,
I had a Huawei P20 lite before this for about 4 years, the software ore hardware was in perfect condition, the only problema was me that droped IT in the concrete for Like 5 Times,
She more i have this phone the more i realiste the beuty of simplicity, Like.. excluse me, but from default, Xioki has a dating/casino app in the phone ready tot be clicked and installed, a lot of other shitty games,
Why the hell do i have 3 apps for photos/videos, are my videos being publicated??, i am so consufes/ annoyed with the software,
Also one big issues with this, the OLED screen is kinda Ass, but hard, i cam understand that i cant get screenburn when i bindge tiktok daily, its pretty unserstandable and that is why i quit (my Huawei P20 had no screen burn at all tho i did the same) but not only tiktok, but the navigation buttonns and top bar is even more burnt in the screen. I mis LCD screens.
Also, the built in autocorect is so damn agresive If You are bilingual
I am for sure considering to switch once again phones altho i got this with a subscription plan, i just want to be done with modern phones and buy myself a Nokia feature phone

So it's basically piece of hardware that can run apps. I have redmi note 10 and since the day i bought it until now, the miui became boring to use with no updates whatsoever.

It clearly uses SD685 also called sm6225-ad.

ShadowDancer, 01 Dec 2023Don't get fooled with this phone's marketing gimm... moreI believe the note 7 pro used a more powerful soc SD675 that had newer cpu A76/A55 cores & powerful Andreno 612 Gpu so yeah it's much more better than the rebadged SD665(SD685) with old A73/A53 cores & weaker Andreno 610 Gpu but more battery efficient with newer 6nm node.

And why bring Apple into the discussion? iPhones are not meant usually for gaming. But for everything else they are top of the line. Did you ever see an Oled display on an iPhone? Or sound from iPhone speakers? They are matched only by S series from Samsung. Period.

Don't get fooled with this phone's marketing gimmick "120hz screen". Many apps and games still lock refresh rate to 60hz so all you're left with is a function that drains your battery in exchange for making you navigate menus slightly smoother. Talking about games, this phone performs so bad..like REAL BAD barely achieving 26 FPS in Genshin Impact at the LOWEST setting. Even my ancient Redmi Note 7 pro performs better than that. Sad to see Xiaomi going down the Apple's path of "pay more for less performance".

I have the 8/128 variant with nfc, well sm6225 is low , meanwhile sm6225-AD is boosted in gpu clock. Why Xiaomi didn't use the sm6225-AD instead. What happen with xiaomi these days?

In Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 4G, Always-on Display is available for 10 seconds only. Unlike, Samsung phones where Always-on Display is permanently on and shows at all times. I don't understand why to limit Always-on Display to 10 seconds only.

Yep, now i can confirm..i got a hands on experience with a Redmi note 12 4g, and i can confidently say that, its gaming performance is worse than that of Redmi note 11..
To be honest, its quite shocking because, note 12 4g was suppose to perfome much better.. I tried Pubg, free fire and Asphalt 9 and all of them worked better on the 1.5 year old redmi note 11.
Even free fire worked smoother compare to the newer model.
However only game that worked better on the note 12 4g is the call of duty mobile. Well its expected, as it is the one of the optimized game out there.
Sorry guys but note 12 4g is not a gaming phone, its even worse than note 11.
If you want to play games on Redmi note 12 4g, then my suggestion is that, make sure you keep a games graphics settings to the lowest as possible for a smoother and strutter free gaming experience.

I got this phone 6/64(indian) variant and using this for 10 days. So here is my verdict after using this phone after 10 days
Good sides:
Display and speaker: Its amoled and 120 hz is good. But not that great because it is a cheap amoled panel. I like its AOD, after turning screen off AOD would stay for 10 seconds and goes full screen off, 1 tap for AOD screen and 2 taps for lock screen. Display can get really bright so its easily visible in sunlight. Speaker could be better with a little more bass. Full volume is ok without any distortion.
Battery and Charging: I'm satisfied by its battery life. Even after heavy using I get around 9-10 hours SOT which is really good. Also charging time is only 1 hour for full charge, 30 minutes for 50%
Performance: CPU and Ram management is quite good, with its 6gb ram it can hold around 6 to 7 apps at once without any hesitation.
Bad sides:
Hand feel of this phone is not good. This is my first phone with sharp edges and this is really bad. Phones with sharp edges does look good but does not feel good in hands. I would never buy another box shaped phone.
Gaming: this section is very disappointing. Why adreno 610 in 2023? It is very old and low powered. Most games can be played but in very low graphics. I play PUBG Mobile sometimes and with this phone I only get Balanced graphics with medium fps. Using gfx tool can rise upto hdr and high fps but the phone gets really hot.
Camera: another bad section of this phone. Photos are dull and less sharpen. Dynamic range is bad. Same for the ultrawide camera. I have a redmi note 5 pro and that phones camera is better than this one. Front camera is quite decent. A problem of this phone or its proccesor is that it can't shoot or play videos in 2k or 4k. So they can give atleast 1080p 60. But sadly it only can shoot in 1080p 30. Also YouTube does not show 2k or 4k. But if I download a video in 2k and play with mx player it is easily playable.
So my recommendation is this is a good balanced phone. If you want a balanced phone for daily usage this phone is for you. If you want to play games with good graphics or shoot some pictures or videos sometimes this isn't for you.

Third class phone. Xaiom COMPANY VERY clever. This phone camera very bad. Few days ago I BUY this phone then 15 days use and sell this one 🤨😡
