The camera is very bad for the price. Performance wise it is very decent. Gaming is okay, it's more worth it to buy the 5g version if you want better performance but pretty much all redmi note 12 models have bad cameras but decent performance even if you're not gaming.

I played Genshin on this phone (8 GB 128 GB) for the past few days but only on the lowest settings and 30 fps. I managed to get all teleporter waypoints in the Chasm with this phone and get a lot of Lumenstone. I tried 60 fps although it does run up to around 50 fps even on the lowest settings and has some lag.

This phone will be worth it once its price goes down next year but for the price now, it's okay, just the camera only sucks.

      This model has NFC and non NFC version. Unfortunately, Xiaomi did not find time to notify about this . You need to buy the phone and find out afterwards . The versions are as follows:

          got this phone a couple months ago, problem that the country i live only has 128gb storage and 4gb ram and It's not enough for me :/

                Not necceserly, I had earlier a samsung a70 more than 4 yeer old phone, still in use by children, absolutely no signs of burn-ins. So it depends on the quality. samsung makes very good displays.

                    Reset camera settings or delete cache or all camera data. Force stop camera. Restart phone. Check it out again. Maybe remove updates and update again if needed

                          Compared samsung poco vivo oppo many other phones and prices this phone is GREAT I got 8gb 256 ram I had also purchased the redmi pad 30days earlier it too is perfect REDMI has won a loyal customer prior I was a Samsung man NO LONGER

                            how is the multitasking experience with the 6/8gb ram variants ?
                            like working with multiple apps at the same time and switching between them...
                            will this phone keep the processes of the background apps active or just kill them ??

                                  Anyone having SIM issues? One of my sim's signals used to drop totally..quite often..
                                  So added another sim..was initially fine but now not receiving text messages on my other sim... though signals and calls are fine
                                  Anyone having such connectivity issues on redmi 12 4g??

                                      The device is alright in my opinion, has refresh rate of 120 hz, capacious battery which will last me half a day,powerful processor that can run demanding games and the design is beautiful and metal back of the phone is easy to hold in the hand
