I'm from redmi no... moreUnless you aren't happy with your current phone and are willing to have at least twice the storage although it is not expandable anymore, I would. Personally, if it was working fine though, then I would keep using the current phone.

If that's all you're doing on your phone, the better SoC won't be any use to you.
Cameras on Xiaomi phones are all notoriously shitty too so no use buying for the 'better' camera. The only reasons why you would upgrade is bc your Note 9 Pro's battery was about to die, or if for whatever reason you feel like you *have* to have an OLED screen or 120W charging now (either of which features are worth 300-400 bucks).

But i believe somewhere like India or some other uber cheap country have theses much much cheaper.

It makes one person angry, mad, insane.
And you cant do anything with that just to format your card.
In case of some unknown brands i can understand but Samsung Evo class or Sandisk and Verbatim should work fine.
But that wasnt the case and many thousdant of pictures and photos gone away.
Nothing could be done. Nothing helped.

YES the SD card is a definitely helpfull adition to any phone for storing a large files such as big photos taken by 200 Mpix camera where every photo takes aproximetely 50 Megabytes of disk space.
And NO is an useless garbage since most SD card slots soon or later after several times of use starts popping (Your SD card is damaged. To fix it you have to Format your SD Card)
So all your precious photos will be deleted and you can do nothing with it.
Happens to me often and my card is just 2 years old and is Samsung Evo branded 256GB.
Friend of mine had Sandisk 64GB and just after a month of use had same issues.
Then he bought new one Phillips branded and fater a 3 months his SD card got broken and needs to be formated.
Even after a formating SD card he got new pop up to formate his card just a next day morning.
So yes the SD card can definitely help problem is once get broken or issues you have to delete all that was precious to you without any other way to fix or copy paste elsewhere.

One day, my Sim tray magically flew out of my phone which left a hole in my case, which was protecting it and the SD card shattered into a million pieces. Quite unfortunate. Good thing I have my cloud storage that I can~ oops, no signal. What a shame.
