While this phone is great, buying older phones would be a better choice.
The Samsung S21+ has 5 years of updates from Android 11 compared to 3 years on 12. That's 1 year more. Plus, it has so many better specs too! The only disadvantages are the slower charging and the worse camera sensor. But hey, it's so much cheaper, going for just $250.
So, unless you're a Samsung hater, there's no doubt that the S21+ is a much better deal.

On the other hand Redmi Note 12 Pro is significantly improved compared to previous models, but it's UI is not as good as Samsung's. Depends on what you value more.

Also they lack OIS 4K. No 4k 60fps either. Would buy if they had.. Must go for a Pixel7 i guess.

Just got this phone today, disappointed that it doesn't have a memory card slot. I didn't bother to check because I had assumed that Xiaomi would keep on providing us with a slot on their phones. Haven't tried it out yet so will see in performance.

I received this phone a few days ago, I'm loving it so far 😊
I love how quickly it can charge!! And the battery can last for many hours with intense usage! The Dolby Atmos sounds incredible!! It can boost up to 8GB+8GB of RAM!! The main camera is awesome!! There are a lot of customization options!! Only things I dislike so far are the ads, but you can disable them don't worry, also the phone is quite heavy 😅

So why on earth did they drop the SD card option from their otherwise great Redmi Note 12 pro phones? - it only costs very little to incorporate, since they already have the technology available.
Lots of potential customers still request this SD card option, so it makes no sense.
Maybe they should asking their costumers what they think about such things? - for a change 🙄

Is there a problem with the Google maps blue beam which shows the direction after the update to Android 13 (MIUI14) on Redmi Note 12 Pro+? This problem is typical for a number of Xiaomi phones after updating to Android 13 (MIUI14). I need to know before upfating to Android 13 (MIUI14). By the way the update to Android 13 still does not arrive to my phone (EEA) via OTA although it was anounced a month ago and I plan to update manually.
