Brazo, 27 Oct 2022Why do you need a SD card slot in 2022?😡What is the harm in giving SD-card slot , when it (SD-card) gives confidence/a security that your data on SD-Card is secure even if the Phone is broken / dead.
A kind of Fail-safe system (or a redundant system in technical parlance).
One does not require internet connection to access data from SD-Card like one requires in cliud storage.

Kamran, 27 Oct 2022Is the fone better than Redmi Note 10 pro?Doesn't look like it, No card slot, downgraded camera and CPU, The Dimensity may be a lill faster as far as opening apps, however the GPU and image processing is still better in the Snapdragon chip. You would think that X learns from their mistakes of their Note 11 Pro, but no.
Xiaomi is yet to release a mid-ranger with a "wow factor, like the R Note10 Pro was last year, so if you have one now, you are better off keeping it .. I know I will

Why would you need an sd card slot you may ask? Well the answer is VERY simple - backup! One time my usb port on my pocophone died and it was LUDICROUSLY hard to get the data off it with barely any charge! Plus i don't want too feed the manufacturer to get hundreds and thousands of new phones ONLY to extend my storage. i want ONE, sustainable phone and periodtttt. I will not throw 300 dollars more, just because i need extra storage

P.S. : I still didn't mention what a poor choice is to write an 'OS' (because GNU/Linux Kernel is Full C and even the kernel isn't at the highest C Standards, we live in 2022 for today) in Java.
Object Oriented is the sickest disease that IT ever got. I can't understand a line of that code but that's my problem. Feels like a ninja stick that you're never sure where it will break but it always does.
Nevermind we have languages as Zig, which seems the future for now, even better than Rust, considering compatibility, (the main problem being wasting tons of resourches allocating and deallocating memory all the time instead of simply understanding the entire ecosystem, things as SQL benchmarks do for obvious reasons...)(here, you have some nice StrangeLoop videos, just sort them by popularity and start with 'Stop Writing Dead Programs')
So, what's my real problem ? My real problem is that we have an entire mess that's even bigger than the total number of all the particles in the universe(if you watch the right video you will understand) and almost nobody(not even their 'creators') can understand what's going on.
Now's the deal : They keep rising the 'resources'(CPU etc.) but the performance stays the same... It seems almost no one is wondering why. They just accept that 'the software is bigger'. That's obvious. But the question is : It's the software BETTER ? It seems not so.
Another problem is that these supercomputers, properly programmed, could do so many better things that just scrolling and be farmed by .js Empires ...
It's such a shame that so few people still understand what a computer mean in XXI Century.
(don't ask me why I write this comment here, maybe because I still hope for some real competition that will break the illegal deals between everyone in the business, but maybe one of the main reasons is that this comm will be 'fetched' by the 'spider' and even more, it will be read by the people that matter and they will know how to critic better, if that's the case)
You can put a LED to show if mic or camera are working but who can really trust that ? There are thousand of ways to 'break' into that.
A phone is a 'backdoor' by design, otherwise it wouldn't work. That's why I think if I will see the best price for the buck I will actually accept Google entering my private life, once again.
(not that it isn't already 'here' , farming as hell everything they can; good luck with Consumerism Empire that started to Fall, see the stocks(NASDAQ)).
(I'm wondering what's my psychologically profile but I will live that for future legal reasons)
