Play a video at 1080p res and then zoom in the video past 3x and see if the detail quality changes. Fo back and forth and see if there's a noticable change!

Only problem is Android Auto doesn't work right now, but it's common problem of MIUI 14 devices. Also sms messaging confused with RCS. That's a real mess, but again not linked just to this phone.

Ovi, 24 Aug 2023Looks life for 2303CRA44A model NFC is not working. Take th... moreModels in some markets don't come with NFC... Mostly 3rd world countries. They think we are too poor to be paying wirelessly so why bother including it lmao. And as for the poor image quality, that's a dumb "feature" that comes with mediatek processors... It's called "miravision". It applies some garbage filter whenever a video is being played on the screen. It give the video an ugly contrasty, oversharpened and over processed look which is so ugly and hard to look at... None of the reviewers mentioned this on youtube, otherwise I would have looked into other phones... my old galaxy M20 with a pls lcd displays vids better than this with phone with a damn amoled. I have managed to disable it by disabling the hardware overlays in the developer settings and now the videos look sooo good, but google says that might lead to more battery drainage, I haven't really noticed a difference yet. Plus "android system" seems to be draining the battery for no reason anyways before i have even made the change. This is my first xiaomi phone and I'm really feeling the MIUI experience right now lmao horride battery life optimization. Don't get me wrong tho it still lasts 10 hours with some heavy use.

Apparently miravision present on every xiaomi phone that uses the mediatek G chip.

GSM Arena mentioned this in their redmi note 10s review but not the 11s : https://m.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_redmi_note_10s__hands_on-review-2268p3.php

I'll repeat this once again... IF YOUR PHONE IS STILL RUNNING GREAT AND YOU ARE NOT IN AN IMMEDIATE NEED FOR AN UPGRADE, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE !

Looks life for 2303CRA44A model NFC is not working. Take this into consideration when you buy one. Also the sound volume is pretty poor, and comparing with Mi 11 Lite the image quality is lower.

Anonymous, 06 Apr 2023At 300 euro and 64 gig , this is the worst redmi note s ever.In Malaysia which is my country they sell for RM999 for 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage (Only sell one storage option in this country). It has ultrawide and macro unlike Realme 10 and Oppo A78 4G in the exact same 999 Malaysian Ringgits.

GG champ, 16 Aug 2023Thank you for the info. Idk if you're a fan of games m... moreI'm not a big mobile gamer but last month I have discover a game called Arena Breakout, it's made by the same company that owns PUBGm (Tencent). I loved it so much because it's realistic dark and griddy and most importantly not filled with those goofy skins, pets and rediculous cosmetic items that are plaguing the rest of mobile shooter games. I have been playing it every now and then and the phone has been handling it pretty well even tho it has more details and assets to render. I have the RAM extension option turned off and I have went through every settings this phone has to disable any annoying feature and xiaomi app that is just running in the background and wasting performance. The phone can run it with high settings but I choose the balanced option with high details to get some more smoothness. After playing for 40mins+ for example, the phone heats up to around 40°c - 41°c and during normal use (youtube watching, web surfing ect) it gets up to 36°c - 38°c but one thing to keep in mind though is that it's summer time currently and I live in hot climate, my room temperature is pretty high so I'm sure these numbers will slightly go down once the summer passes. It's runs a little bit hot but that has not been a downside for me. I have searched online if my temps are normal and they are definitely within the normal range. If we had the Helio G99 prosessor we would have definitely gotten a little boost in performance and battery life but xiaomi is getting to lazy out here.

Anonymous, 15 Aug 2023Yes, it does have video stabilisation. However, you cannot ... moreThank you for the info. Idk if you're a fan of games maybe you've tried playing pubg on that phone... The H-G96 processor on it (12nm) is definitely gonna have heating issues.

GG champ, 14 Aug 2023Hello. Am considering buying this phone but before that i h... moreYes, it does have video stabilisation. However, you cannot turn it off... It just stays activated. I have found that to be a rediculous choice by xiaomi. Let the people have the option of switching it on or off... My dad's redmi note 9 pro used to have the option to toggle it off but when he updated to the latest MIUI version the option disappeared. The video stabilisation causes the video quality to be blurry and way less detailed plus the picture is more zoomed in for the video to be stabilized. Don't get me wrong though ! The video quality is still great plus it's better compared to the rest of the redmi note 12 lineup, but If you want a better video shooting experience download the "hedge cam 2"app from the Playstore. It's so much more customizable and the video capturing is just soooo much better than the default camera and you can stabilize the video later in post using google photos.

Here's a video sample of the default camera : https://youtu.be/RsLsykd0ztc

Hello. Am considering buying this phone but before that i have a question. Does it have video/ picture stabilization feature?

Anonymous, 10 Aug 2023I have a question. Are the speakers really weaker than othe... moreI don't know what other model you are comparing them to but they are pretty loud. However, the bottom speaker seems to handle most of the bass and a bit of mids whilst the upper speaker handles the treble some of the mid range too. I have found them to be not thaaaat bassy tbh but you can install the Equalizer app from the Playstore and EQ them up to your desire. I have tweeked the EQ and also boosted the bass on mine and they sound pretty nice.
The app is not heavy and you should disable the battery saver for it to not shutdown after a while so it can keep running in the background, it doesn't drain the battery at all.
As for the EQ settings that come installed on the phone by default, they freaking keep disabling them selves for some reason. Whenever I hop over from the settings to youtube everything sounds different on my earphones and I discovered that they don't work probably so the equalizer app is the way to go. Plus you can save multiple profiles on the app.
