Tyas, 09 Aug 2023I'm using galaxy J5 2017 for 5 years and display looks... moreObviously you are the lucky one.

You know there's a funny thing about LG. They introduce their first OLED TV in 2010. For every new generation of panels they claim that THIS time they fixed the issue with burn-in. Next year, with the the next gen panels, they'll make the same claim: "we implemented new tech that prevents burn-in, this time it works". And 2-3 years later people will start reporting burn-in, and some people will be saying "well yeah, that's because it's the old OLED panels".

You can't prevent the organic light-emitting diodes from getting dimmer over time, you can at best delay it. If you really want to prevent burn-in, you shouldn't turn it on at all. That's the only way for OLED.

For OLED if you're unlucky then 6 months, the average seems to be around 2-3 years, if you're very lucky then more than 5 years.

Meanwhile currently I'm looking at my 14 years old 24" DELL LCD monitor that I use 12+ hours everyday and it still working fine. The same with my 10 years old 42" LG LED TV, 21" Sony CRT from 1990s and 11 years old Sony Xperia S that I use it as MP3 player as well.

Hello Moto, 14 Aug 2023lcd has a poor contrast ratio. hence, it is cheapYeah, just like how much was paid for this hateful comment.

just a smile, 05 Jun 2023Cheap? It's a good quality one. Lollcd has a poor contrast ratio. hence, it is cheap

Anonymous, 20 Jul 2023Same for me. But if I have a choice I would always choose L... moreYeah, display with oled, which they claim power efficient, color accurate, billions of colours, dynami thin display, fake hdr, or whatever, in reality is just fragile display tech. Their claim just gimmicks, full of lies.

Internal storage, they silently using QLC, and boasted it as huge internal with faster Ufees 4.0 which no bring benefits to durability. Speed is only bring heat to storage which is shortened fragile QLC nand storage, even they want bring PLC to user, and the controller make them worse, to kept their gimmicks speed, they killing the nand itself. Even they blatantly offer fake extend ram, is just pushing nand durability to zero.

They always hiding the truth behind an gimmick, just for cover the RnD failed tech budget.

What's with Xiaomi and their removing of the FM radio? It used to be available in all their devices, now none of them are having it.

With nature of OLED it just a matter of time of when pixels start to burn. The higher the brightness the faster it burn and you would end up need to treat it like a baby to extend its life. Because If you don't treat it like a baby it would turn into a trash much faster.

That's what manufacturers love about OLED since it give them opportunity to sell you a new product much faster. It's planned obsolescence with the help of the nature of the components. Kinda similar to how wireless headphone turn into trash when the battery inside are dead, but in this case the battery can be easily replace but most people don't really care and just buy a new one.

Performance: 8/10 - The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset with octa-core CPU and Mali-G610 MC6 GPU should provide solid performance for daily tasks and gaming, although it may not be as powerful as the top-tier flagship processors.

Camera: 8/10 - The triple-camera setup with a 64 MP main camera, ultrawide lens, and macro camera offers versatility for photography. However, without specific camera assessments, it's challenging to provide a definitive rating.

Display: 9/10 - The 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a high refresh rate of 144Hz, HDR10, and Dolby Vision support ensures smooth and vibrant visuals.

Software: 8/10 - The device runs on Android 13 with the MIUI 14 interface. It provides a feature-rich and customizable user experience, although personal preferences may vary.

Design: 7/10 - The device features a sleek and modern design with IP53 dust and splash resistance. However, the weight of 200g may feel slightly heavy for some users.

Battery: 8/10 - The 5080mAh battery capacity combined with 67W wired charging ensures long usage and fast charging capabilities.

Overall, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12T Pro offers a good balance of specifications and features for its price range. It provides solid performance, versatile camera capabilities, a high-refresh-rate display, and a large battery. However, personal preferences may vary, and it's always recommended to consider individual needs and priorities when choosing a smartphone.

Nonjafig, 25 Jun 2023That sucks.... Sorry for late reply but I understand your p... moreWell that corrects. If something from alliexpress cost 2-5 bucks and did not comes to my home adress i dont care much same goes if that thing breaks in lets say month or year.
If i buy phone from then i have no guarantee that lets say 200 eur device will come to my home adress. Then a lot of writing and calling where is my package and what happened.
And even if come there will be a lot of warranty issues.
Another example is here in EU is a must that every device have at least 2 years of warranty if not stated othervise by company.
Outside of EU phones for example have 1 year of warranty even the brands people trust. which sucks.
