I tested the phone and it seems solid, with premium materials, the 200mpx camera is felt when you take pictures. Not tested the software part. I hope to have the possibility to change the settings for applications so that I can get rid of unwanted ads.

        DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PHONE.
Screen display is bad, worst THAN IPS LCD. Built in apps are all linked to 3rd party apps, collecting personal data and also advertisement pop all over.
It is built in a way to force you use the apps. Terrible thing is ringtone and wallpaper app need to use these apps.
        For those surveying,
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS, NOT WORTH IT.

I tested this phone in Mi Store and was disappointed with the quality of the display it's like a step back from 5-6 years ago. I don't care what the specs sheet says but the display is really overrated and the Vivo V30's display quality is way better.

I bought this phone 2 weeks ago, after this time of use... I hate it.. I hate it.. it's a junk product, no good no good, doesn't deserve the price paid and it is far, far from the promised expectations... especially for someone who owned a Huawei P30 pro for almost 5 years.. I thought I was getting a good deal by buying it but I was really wrong. ...in front of the P30 pro, this phone is a toy...poor sound quality, bad GSM network, battery life does not meet the expected promises...it has a bad keyboard which is not at all intuitive, no reading detector to keep your screen awake while viewing or reading.. too many useless applications, system invaded by publications... the system menus are poorly designed and really useless since the choice of options is sometimes a real maze requires a thousand turns....plus it is launched with a Miui 13 and Android 13.. I simply switched to the Miui 14.... while a phone how to redmi note 10 5G released in 2021 also has Miui 14 and Android 13.!!!!! I believe that Xiaomi is a marketing company that markets phones... Huawei on the contrary is a phone company that markets its own products...

I have this phone from 2 days but my first impressions are good. Display is very nice - bright and big, sound quality is good, phone works very fast and smooth. Pictures are good, charging speed is good, for now is hard to say about battery life - but with heavy use it least me for a day. I have 2 sim cards and option to add esim. It have NFS, no radio, no card slot. It come with case, fast charger and fabric protector on the screen. Miui 14 version global 14.0.2; android 13. It support themes and dynamic wallpapers.

Fishtail, 14 Mar 2024Esim ? Anyone can verify?Yes my phone is 2 sim cards version and it have option to add esim.

The battery life will depend on your usage. If you are a gamer, then this may suck. I considered the Pixel 7 which is around the same price but I hear it has connectivity issues.

Have been pretty pleased this phone so far, does remind me of Xiaomi's "flagship killer" days. People like to rail on their stuff a lot, but having owned 3 different Redmi phones over the years, the value proposition for the specs you can get still feels good to me.

These midrangers and high end don't get here. Sadly. Sadly too, the Redmi note 13 pro that comes to Kenya is a 4G variant, not the 5G.

Given the pricing of the Galaxy A55, what options does one have? The Redmi Note 13 pro+ doesn't have as good a battery as I'd want. Poco X6 pro? Nothing Phone 2a? The comparable Galaxy S21 range has issues with the green lines on screens and poor wifi connectivity.
