is all xiaomi crapware easy to remove ? I mean not the obvious netflix and apps, the shaddy ads, useless AI services, call home, you know what I mean for sure .. whith ADB or root ?
price is OK especailly in europe (all phones are expensive crappy nowadays), as usual not existing in canada and import from US is expensive.
photos good to me even selfie (i'm not finicky, look cute, natural, detailed and so on, need no more)
perf seems more than good enough with SD 4nm
got a few redmi, relability was ok but was time ago... poco, had serious reliability issue, won't try that again.
also competition is fading, less for more or can't simply be found anywhere in the west.
my point it's about its OS. But they're all crappy/spyware nowadays, even 'native' android.
So why not switch back to chinomy and tweak, I'm asking

Zealous , 17 Mar 2025I’ve not encountered those issues although I had PayPal kee... moreNope. I have already reinstalled the apps, did a factory reset and so on. But nothing helps. I have dived into the web only to discover that my Emerald variant is running a Beta version, that's why it's sooooo buggggyyyy. If you look into the list of OS versions for my phone, it only had 1 stable version and 2 stable betas which is currently installed on my phone. I have already updated twice, and the most recent is 2.0.4.0. Unlike the Garnet which runs the stable version of HyperOS 2

Zero, 12 Mar 2025Battery life has improved but not that much. Lag is partial... moreI’ve not encountered those issues although I had PayPal keep stopping after the update turning my phone off and back on resolved that issue for me so it may be worth you doing that

Battery life has improved but not that much. Lag is partially fixed since there are still times when the phone lags. Mainly because of the animation. Youtube and Gmail still force closes on my end. I don't know about the others. But at least there's an improvement compared to 2.0.2.0. By the way, my phone's variant is Emerald.

Have those who received HyperOS version 2.0.4.0 noticed an improvement in battery performance ? Does it not generate excessive heat while gaming ?

I've been using the Redmi Note 13 Pro and am disappointed to find that it doesn't support HDR playback on YouTube. Despite its hardware capabilities and support for Dolby Vision, the device fails to display HDR content on YouTube, significantly hampering the media consumption experience on this otherwise promising device.

Anonymous, 06 Mar 2025are hyper os 2 you used was the beta or final version I have the stable version. The beta for Note 13 Pro was released ages ago.
