excellent phone, the processor is good, browsing the Internet is fast, the camera is great for the money, better than most mobile phones in the same price category, the price-performance ratio is better than Samsung phones in the same price category

Anonymous, 10 Jun 2024Anyone here who uses this can confirm if they are animation... moreWhy don't you check out a YT video of this phone with HyperOS, which is the upgrade path for MIUI? My X6 Pro has animations in the UI. I prefer Nova Launcher but gestures from China phones don't work on it.

Do NOT buy this phone. The G99 processor is designed to handle 3gigs of RAM max and UFS 2.1 max. Integrating this with any thing above will seriously slow doen your phone constantly. It can barely handle zoom calls.

It could definitely last 2/3 years since it'll get 2 more android updates and the security shenanigans, maybe even 4/5 but guess that'd have to count on how you'll be using it. So doubt it'd be a bad purchase for her but if she doesn't really care about cameras then you can go ahead and check out the Poco M6 Pro which is a tad bit cheaper with a worse cam but in your place the difference in price would probably be tiny
