HOWEVER, this is why Pro and non-Pro models exist! Can't afford the Pro? Buy the non-pro version! There is really no need to further create an option between 4G and 5G, especially considering the fact they are released as separate models (as opposed to specs you can customize within a model, like ram/storage).

You could say this is the real problem here. If Xiaomi (and, by extension, other brands) want to provide consumers with an option between 4G and 5G, they can do so through specs customization. Same with the difference in chipsets. They should stop releasing individual models!

    Stop getting yourself walked up guys, xiaomi decided to make 4g and 5g versions of the Redmi Note 13pro, for those who are financially strong should go for 5g version but if you are not that financially strong stick with the 4g version.And for your information this is the best 4g phone on planet for now,no 4g phone out there has such specs compare to this, and also for those of you complaining about processor, g99 ultra is the best 4g processor on planet for now,and that is why xiaomi decided to use it because there is non better than it out there.So just make your choice and stop complaining.

      For some reason, it's really, really, REALLY difficult to put forest green color on a decent, well-made, midranger. So this green motif is welcome. Perhaps reserved for flagship privilege only? 🤔

            They didn't even put the same screen as the 5g version. So countries without 5g don't even deserve a better screen?? Trash chipset along with a trash screen. Waste of money 🚮.

                                But m,ost people on planet arent a tech geeks.
                                In other words if they look at the basic specs in a shop they see a 200 Mpix camera phone with price of 350 they will be like WoW same goes for many else specs readable from phone stand or a specs sheet next to a phone.
                                Those who arent tech geeks which is majority. Will be exactly like this bigger numbers is better for them and will make them buy.
