We all know that G99 doesn't support 4k video so I'm assuming this so called "Ultra" variant is to support the 4k video but why bother making an "Ultra" variant and not just use other SOC like the 7 Gen 1 or something else? Plus at this price it suppose to get a better SOC than this G99 otherwise it's not worth it

Hopefully it comes out on something 778G with a screen resolution downgrade and that's it. Will be even better for me than 5G version.

The video encoder/decoder is not an expensive part.

No way could this has 4K video recording on Helio G99. I don't believe you Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G.
I believe 4K video encode does not exist on Helio G99. not the G95

If the specs are true then this phone is a Dead on arrival. G99(regardless of version) is a SoC for sub-150usd phones, not fucking 350 lol. This SHOULD have ATLEAST a 778G/D8100 or better soc.

Why is this pro 4g series still continues? Would people even want to buy a 4g phone at this price point? And a boring design. Redmi note 10 still had a cooler design.
