Battery seems really attractive, phone has decent enough processor that it wont lag, and i know redmi's camera, except video recording - the pics and etc would be very good. I am excited for the phone, problem is i already bought s21 fe 5g snapdragon version about 1 year ago - so yeah ... maybe next time

All smart devices should have a root account that is accessible by the user.
Imagine a windows PC without administrator account, that's what a phone without root is like... An overpriced toy for the elderly and kids.

You are lucky that your phone has more than 4 GB of RAM memory. lmao
Worry not. All you have to do to be happy is unlock the bootloader and flash a custom ROM.
Thankfully Xiaomi allows bootloader unlock on all their devices unlike some bad companies such as Realme who don't even allow this!

concerned, 10 Dec 2024brothers i have a note 9 pro and wanted to upgrade soon sho... moreI went from the Note 9 Pro (2020) to the M6 Pro (2024) and it's okay for me. Cam does feature OIS, 8/256GB, the Note 9 Pro was/is 6/128 GB. Have had the 13T Pro before the M6 Pro, and performance-wise of course a lot better, cams better, especially the Main cam...but my 13T Pro was a monday modell, and despite all the help, even from Xiaomi germany hotline, it never, ever found an update via OTA. Bummer. So M6 Pro that is. I'll wait to see what goes around into 2025 - but since i am not a gamer, only messenger, web surfing, mails, and occasionally youtube, and snapshots - its fine, battery life gets me through 2 full days, always. For everything serious in terms of photography, i do own digital FF gear...and 35mm film SLRs, too.

HyperOS needs to be more optimized, it's still so buggy and RAM managemnt is too horrible in chinese hyperOS. Moreover, notification issue is a pain in the ass. Xiaomi is really dissappointing us, plz fix all the issues with hyperOS, otherwise people will have to avoid your hyperS*it

concerned, 10 Dec 2024brothers i have a note 9 pro and wanted to upgrade soon sho... moreNote 9 Pro already comes in a pretty long way, its quite an upgrade if you're getting the Note 14 Pro+ but I recommend if possible to wait for review to get a clear picture of its overall performance. There'll be a lot of alternative from other brands but everything will be depending on your usage, though. Whether you'll be looking for a gaming oriented, longer software and security support, better camera or user experience. Of course watch out for the price range, as well.
