For those getting the Micro SD card not readable or not recognized, the phone only read the Micro SD in FAT32 file format.
So, if the card file format is in other format, such as exFAT, NTFS, then the phone won't able to read it.
You can let the phone to format the card for you, or use any Windows tools to format the card at computer with card reader.

All Redmi Note 2 coming with Micro SD slot, the prime version also comes with Micro SD slot.
The one that don't has Micro SD slot is Redmi Note 3.

I'm using Sandisk Ultra 64GB card in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, works great without any issue.
But the Redmi Note 2 does not support "Move Apps To SD Card" feature.

If you are using latets miui global rom version 7.1.1.0. You won't find that setting you mentioned.

Anonymous, 25 Dec 2015have to compare to lenovo K3-50.Lenovo phone got big problem issues about contact . What ever received incoming call or message it just show contact number ONLY instead contact name even after you put a name in contact list . To solve the problem you must put 2 same number with prefix number . And to many bloatware.... if i root it i will lost my warranty....

What i like about Xiomi Redmi Note 2 it' had Notification Light and you can choose diffrent colour for your Notification.. Example for incoming call i use blue , incoming message use yellow , low battery red and etc.... And this phone can be your personel remote control for TV , Air conditioner , decoder , fan etc...

2. Sim Card & Mobile Network
3. Sim Card Setting
4. Sim Card Slot 1 or choose just one Sim that you preferred to use 4G signal if you are using 2 Sim Card
4. Preferred network type
5. Click Prefer LTE
6. That all....
Note : You will see 4G on your mobile phone signal... just make sure your area covered by 4G signal....

Just ignore what they say about chinese version coz now i'am using Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Malaysia version and it support both MMC 32gb or 64gb ( i using it now ) .

1. Put MMC 64gb in the MMC Slot
2. Turn On your phone
3. Go to Setting
4. Additional Setting
5. Storage
6. Click Erase SD Card
7. After finish Restart your phone and...
8. That all
Xiomi Redmi Note 2 can use both MMC 32gb or 64gb.... it' up to you
Note : make sure to buy genuine MMC

Just format your MMC using your phone ( Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 ) . First put your MMC in the MMC Slot and turn On your phone after that go to Setting , additional Settings , storage and click Erase SD Card.... and walaa... It's work perfectly....
