Great phone. Good camera. Nice screen. Below average battery life. Gets a bit heated up sometimes and no fast charge. Takes a long time to charge.

With resources of that specs and price, i think its worth it. I hope i can buy my redmi note 2 with not high price, and one thing i concerned is overheating, drain battery so fast, and bootloop!!!

Umair, 22 Nov 2015I would rate this phone 9.8/10 Believe me in this price ra... moreWhy is everyone saying that the battery is good while my redmi note 2 is having a terrible time trying to survive a day with moderate use. Can anyone share which build they are using and what kind of setting their phone is usually at. I'm only having 3-4 hours of SOT on a fully charge basis.

you won't be regret. I'm xiaomi fanatic.
I've been using a few xiaomi phone version and past a few month I'm using mi 4i and really2 dissapointed with that phone,my mi 4i always met with legging & suddenly stuck in the logo..

Xiaomi Redmi note 2 prime is an excellent value smartphone, feels like hi end flagship phones experience that is four times more expensive. I upgraded from Redmi Note 1 which is now my back up phone.
With regards to battery, Note 2 prime is good, there really is no problem, just make sure you're running on Android 5 Lolipop MIUI version 7. To give you an idea, in my prime Note 2, batt consumption is from full charge: 100% to 90% batt = 42 minutes of continuous opening of browser/ links, videos, facebooking, tweeting, opening emails, etc. Last night before I slept the charge was 100% and when I woke up it's still 100% with all my apps open and on stand by. And unlike hi end phones, batt is replaceable so you can always carry a spare for extra juice if you like. Not bad at all.
