I broke my lenovo k3 note, just bought a redmi note2 prime so I can compare these based on first hand experience. Battery life is similar (both good, didn't have drain issues on any of them). Screen quality, and performance is definitely better on the redmi note 2. I also prefer the xiaomi rom/os, this is subjective though. The rounded shape the redmi makes it feel smaller and it is actually easier to pocket. Feels like an upgrade on most fronts imo.

Bought redmi note 2 from grey importer (malaysia, onegadjet)
The original rom that comes with the phone is bad (miui 6). Flashed miui 7 from miui.eu, and im very happy with my phone now.
Over 5hrs SOT, no bloatware, and no problem with google services.
I suggest u guys do the same as well, lastest version of miui 7 is really really good.

Hi, guys, have you figured out the battery problem? Is it because of Lollipop, the custom rom, display brightness, background proceses or what? Does MIUI 7 solve the battery problem or there's no change from MIUI6? How to stop background processes?
How much free RAM is left by the OS?
Do you have a creaking back panel? (some ppl had this complaint)

This phone has no quick charge.The processors itself is only good in an advertisement.You guys will encounter slow browsing,heating,battery drainage,virus(on fun weather etc)its operating system consist of tons of virus so don't use credit cards.PLease beware2.

Samsung note 3 will beat any of these Chinese phones and is cheaper or similar price. And is Samsung. Will be compatible with everything and anything.

Guys, after downloading and installing the MIUI 6 back into this phone, the battery life has improved alooooooot! forget about the MIUI 7 Developer Rom right now. It consumers too much batter life for no reason.
