have this phone from china to uk was 159 screen is great battery life good not the best but good some issues with updating apps because of two stores mi and playstore so carnt delete or update you tube unless i root it the phone came with playstore installed
fast phone hola launcher makes it better to use sound is good for a cheap phone with headphones is excellent

It is really a good one. Dosen't have any heating problem. But because of IPS screen and 400ppi, if you don't maintain the brightness manually, instead of auto brightness, battery will drain very fast.

Hari, 21 Sep 2015is this phone (redmi note 2)avail anywhere ? Please inform ..I have got the 16gb from ebay for 140 euro. Its a nice one. The Chinese kan realy do good telephones. More bang for the bucket is hard to find. I also have a G3 to compare with and dont find it to be any big different between this two units. But I prefere the G3 still. Its just more fun to have a odd Xiaomi right now. G3 is more nice compact and feels more well build.

As you can see, once the screen is on it drains the battery like hell. Especially when you have it at 100% brightness all the time like my wife has.
She does a LOT of messaging and gaming (that solid block of on screen time at the end).
The phone itself is on the latest MIUI6 stable. I read in the forums that MIUI7 weekly is much more optimized with better battery life but I'd rather not have her on Beta software.
Overall is a really great phone and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends. But if you're not in a hurry you'd better wait a couple of months when prices have dropped a bit more and MIUI7 is released.
Btw, I got mine for RM686 (USD161) at a small shop in Cheras.

Susan , 20 Sep 2015Anyone can tell me that Mi4i and Redmi Note 2 , which one i... moreLook at these specs: redmi series have sd card slot but mi series not.mi 4i has a quad core cpu and redmi note 2 an octa core(snap dragon vs media tec..dont bother much about it)and the screen,redmi has 5.5 inch mi only 5 inch.I think redmi note 2 better.
