Been using it from last 5 months,
Absolutely no problem on the phone performance.
Battery is Superior.
Camera Quality at low light is disappointing. Okay on outdoors. not so good. :'(
Updated it to Marshmallow recently 2 weeks approx. Its a lot smoother and better, Battery is still good no change on its discharging speed.
But Camera Quality degrade a bit in HDR mode. Normal shot is still the same.
In conclusion:
Im Fully Satisfied by this phone looking at its price range, and its totally a Good Choice to upgrade it from Lollipop to Marshmallow. Trust me You wont regret it.
Camera is a bit downside. If you want camera phone then go for other brands, but on the phone performance side, no other brand would be able to beat this xiaomi redmi note 3 at its price range.
P.S. Dont know what screen protection it have, but it can get scratched easier than those gorilla glass. so make sure to put tempered glass.
Fell down on floor Twice from around 2-3 feets from ground. the cheap tempered glass (of Rs. 150 [ 2.21 US dollar] ) i put on saved it twice. ;)

Hello after updating my Redmi Note 3 to MIUI v8.1.1.0 MHOMIDI Global Stable Marshmallow ROM these are the bugs I have found-
1. If first SIM is on 4G then second SIM goes to 3G instead of 2G. Since you can't use the 2nd SIM for data if you're using data services on the 1st SIM, it's useless for the second SIM to be on 3G. It wasn't there in previous ROM and the real concern is that it drains battery so why not fix the second SIM to 2G only mode.
2. Network fluctuates a lot.
3. Not able to use Airtel 4G inside my home even though I have selected prefer 4G mode. It changes to Airtel 3G all the time and selecting LTE only mode shows no service. I had no problem using Airtel 4G in previous MIUI ROM.
4. Battery is draining a lot.
5. Earphone mic not working during call.
6. HD movies which are huge in size and having mkv format are lagging during playback in default video player and MX Player.
If you are also facing these issues after the Marshmallow update please visit the link below, login with your MIUI account and press the confirm button. I'm thinking about reverting back to MIUI v8.0.6.0.

best bugget smartphones camera review!
( rare cam performance is gd of f1s instead of j7 prime & asus zenphone selfie! oppo got detailed pics & takes naturall shots where zenphone falls for producing warmer non detailed pics, j7 prime has got poor old sensor! for getting dslr pics go to asus zenphone selfie powered with 1s to 32s shutter speed, for getting detailed natural pics & some rich manual photoghy experience go to oppo f1s equipped with 1s to 16s shutter speed, if you guyes don't have the time to be smartphone photographer go & grab samsung j7 prime with 1s shutter speed only taking average pic though(even j7 is even better)! what about p9 lite guyes, only 1s to 8s shutter speed, & xiome redmI note 3 with #noshutterspeed founded!) tagging all smartphones, hope u guyes enjoyed!

I personally own this redmi note 3 sd 650 3gbram version. When i bought this phone it came with miui glbal 7.3 and android 6.Overall this phone is not bad but will lag in real racing 3 when pressing back button in game. MOBILE LEGEND BANG BANG OBVIOUSLY damn lag....Google Chrome i can also feel the lag when scrolling some websites. Battery performance not bad on this phone.

screen is crappy. has no protection at all it cracked like hell after being dropped to just 6-10 inches high. i thought it was sporting Gorilla glass
