Guys, HD Videos, especially HD movies having mkv format which are huge in size (say around 1GB or more than that) are lagging or not playing smoothly when playing them using default video player and MX Player. This is a bug in MIUI v8.1.1.0 MHOMIDI (Marshmallow based) ROM for Redmi Note 3. So visit the link below and press the confirm button if you are also facing this issue.

Hello I have updated to Marshmallow today and after the update I done a factory reset. The problem is, if I am playing HD movies in default video player then the video is lagging a lot. I tried playing with MX Player but same issue. HD Movies are lagging after this update. Anyone else facing this issue?

Sim 1 after connecting wifi shows 4g!! But it is running on 3g!!

One thing came in my mind .... when i was buying note3.......is ..... , its a INDIAN phone, manufactured in India so its good to purchase and try it out.
I just want to tell you that in last 2 week before i buy red me note3, it worked fine for 2 weeks, after that i was not able to call/pick a call, unable to unlock, only my finger was working but unable to enter in app to browse.
its a pathetic phone I purchase. I am not going to purchase any Indian electronic products hence fourth.. I am sooo sorry... i am coming with this language but it cant help it.

All over phone is gud but i heard 2nd sim problem in phone. Also memory card. Is it really a issue

Updated to marshmellow, now only problem I have noticed is that on enabling hotspot, it does't show the no. of connected devices. On lollipop build this was not a problem.
RAM management has improved considerably. Now there is always more free RAM.

upgraded to marshmallow yesterday. everything is running fine.second sim on 3g problem is solved by few steps.just go to setting and then about phone and then internal memory,press continously and then goto phone information 2 and select gsm only after that.problem solved,if your phone doesnt response after update on lock screen just press volume down plus power button for some seconds phone restarts after some process.thats all ..
