Xiaomi Note 3 (2GB RAM, 16GB ROM), we updated the morning at MIUI 9.2.4.0 but the size was 354M. Until now the phone works perfectly, I do not see a yellow shade of the screen, as the update button disappeared, this would mean that it will not be able to update in the future. let's see how the battery will behave.

Yesterday I got MIUI 9.2.4 (MHOMIEK), size 290 MB. There is one issue after installation of update display changed in light yellow color. other is fine (like touch response fast compared to old version).

U.B, 02 Feb 2018Is there any issues found in MIUI 9 v9.2.4.0 MHOMIEK? I received update of size 290 MB. I updated (2GB RAM/16GB ROM model) last night and the observations are as below -
1) Internal memory freed up by 2 GB. Very happy.
2) Home page layout changed which I personally didn't like.
3) Major issue I found is change in colour scheme. Yellow shade is found all over display and everywhere. True colours are disappeared. Images look faded with yellow shade. I adjusted brightness but of no use. I am very disappointed with this change. If anybody has resolution, please mention.
4) All other are minor changes.
5) I didn't observe any change in performance.
6) Battery performance not observed yet.
7) Updater disappeared in tools folder that means may be no updates in future.
Anybody having other observations please share.

U.B, 02 Feb 2018Is there any issues found in MIUI 9 v9.2.4.0 MHOMIEK? Its a nice update... Phone feels fresh and ofcourse app load times are less as compared to miui 8

Xiaomi redmi note 3 pro (2GB RAM) We received today update to MIUI 9 V9.2.4.0. MHOMIEK stable, 354 M. Has someone updated, please nice, opinions about the behavior of the phone with MIUI 9. thank you!

Anonymous, 30 Jan 2018how to upgrade marshmallow from lollypop Android version I already got Marshmallow update for a years. Just updated when new update arrive because Xiaomi send OTA update to all available phone, if you are not getting any update via OTA then you need to download it at MIUI websites. Marshmallow Android update only apply for Snapdragon Global version (Kenzo), MediaTek version will not receive any Android version update and Snapdragon Special Edition (Kate) come with Marshmallow out of box and may not getting any Android version update. So if we want updated RN3 to Android Nougat its only available via custom rom.

Sadly to say our beloved Redmi Note 3 will not getting any Android Nougat update officially forever, I know some people are not agreeing this but thats the facts. RN3 is a midranger and will receive only 1 android version update, this is mandatory by Google. Because RN3 come out of box with Lollipop and already receive Android Marshmallow update so there will no other android version update for Redmi Note 3. Its a great phone... everything clear, nice and easy to use, and cheap price, thanks to Mi and CusRom. The new phone is very high budget cost in this range, hope to see new budget phone again.

Panci utang, 25 Jan 2018until now, xiaomi not given miui 9 global stable for redmi ... moreI have flashed custom rom in September. Its much better and bug free than miui, also ad free , no one collecting my userdata and now I don't want to retun back on miui, so I am not waiting for miui 9 update.
Why not to try this option.

until now, xiaomi not given miui 9 global stable for redmi note 3 pro just beta with any bugs, please give a comment in miui forum to save our phone.. xiaomi leave this phone now...

I used red mi note 3 from 1 and half year , contact merging is big problem when I dialed or receive any call it shows others name on screen and most are also merged with other's,I deleted all clean total phone but same problem created again.xiomi must look out in it.there is big problem
