Took Redmi Note 3 on 30th April 2016. Updated the phone more than 3 times. Still there is hardware problem. Talked to customer care. They said this phone is suffering from hardware problem. Internal speaker volume is too low. I asked to my friends also, they told me that they are also suffering from this problem.

Lakay, 03 Oct 2016That is the reason why I've never tried to update my Redmi ... moreupdate ur device, if u face any issue just factory reset it will solve ur issue. marshmellow will arive within 3 months (based on my expection)

Until now, I am using MIUI version 7.2.5.0.0 with no lag, no heating
problem. The battery last 3 days. If you know how to use the camera,
taken pictures could be a lots of fun. I have no problem of any kind
with my Redmi note 3.

MUST READ!!...i have an issue in ma MI NOTE 3...an update came for me(512mb)..for some feature updation...ive done it..after rebooting...i cant able to keep any of the pictures as my wallpaper..can i know why..??..its saying CANT LOAD IMAGE
