awesome features with new update MIUI 8. dual apps, second space and much more. phone becomes little slow in performance. camera quality remains the same

I am on 7.2.5 stable ROM. I just got the MIUI 8.0.1 (stable) update which is of 1.1GB. Just wanted to know performance of the phone from those who have updated their devices to MIUI 8 update.

One of the reason you need android version update.
Miui version update is just some facelift, new theme.
Some of so called miui function like split screen actually is built-in function in android, and Google is better than xiaomi.
Thus android update is more important than miui update.
If not, miui can forever base on android 2.3.

He... moreDid you check the link i gave you. It was just a software issue. Others had that problem but when upgraded there software, the issue vanished.
I can't understand those who don't make updates? Updates are meant to remove the bugs. If you have bugs then update your phone.

He said, "This causes problems with the auto brightness with intense sunlight! Instead of going full brightness, the screen stays at low brightness."
After he noticed that under intense sunlight, then he tested with flashlight.
