use an officially cable from $4m$ung or from 4$u$. It has better quality than the other brand.

Which usb cable is best for redmi note 3. I face problem in usb cable. I had changed 5 times the original cable from store. Every time the cable was damaged. And when i go to service centre they told perchase a new cable. Please tell friend which usb cable is best for redmi note 3

Its latest update MIUI 8.5.6.0 is good in terms of battery life and network fluctuations also it has good wifi range

For all the people who are xiaomi phones are bad...FYI xioami is the only company in this world that still acknowledges your warranty even if you've rooted your device. The features xiaomi gives in any particular price range, no other company can give those.So what if its not updating its phones to nougat or oreo. It's still updating the security patch and Miui versions. Moreover you can very well install some custom roms like lineage os and Resurrection remix. At the budget, no company can beat xiaomi.

Redmi Note 3 is abandon by Xiaomi, no Nougat update, we will stuck with Marsmallow even we get MIUI 9 update. I will opt to another brand.

Just sold mine and my wife's to my employees with good bargain (US$70) for them. The phone still in mint condition. The main reason for the change is tired of wife's nagging as we using too inexpensive phone. The other reason is my concern of my deteriorating eyes, so switching into amoled screen with internal blue light filter should hopefully reduce the damaging rate.
My new phone is samsung J7 pro (2017) and after changing I just realised some app are actually conflict against Xiaomi note 3. I used app called "Manis" which always trouble when using xiaomi note 3 (unstable), but work very fast on samsung J7 pro. Its surprising but its a fact and make me regret as I had complained a lot against "Manis" admin. But other than that, note 3 gave me good experience with budget phone. Although its only has 3600mAh battery, but due too advanced saving energy from amoled screen and cpu, the battery last longer. The only bad side (and most important) is it cost twice as much as xiaomi note 3.

Yes xiaomi doesnt care about their older devices especially redmi series because its not worthy to them to spend some money on old cheap devices. Next time if you want update to next generation android please buy expensive phone from notable brand.

Well I heard that Redmi Note 3 will get the MIUI 9 update but it won't be based on Android Nougat. If this is true, Xiaomi is doing injustice to this capable smartphone. I feel betrayed as a user. The Redmi Note 3 was initially launched with Android Lollipop and took a really, really long time to get the Android Marshmallow update in the days of Android Nougat.. Redmi Note 3 is very well capable of handling Nougat and Oreo but Xiaomi won't care.

A very strange thing happened to my Redmi Note 3. Just a month ago, I had updated to MIUI 8.5.4.0 Global Stable which was suspended, I guess and now checking the updater app or in the about device, the software version shown is MIUI 8.5.3.0 Global Stable. I didn't downgrade but this happened automatically. Strange.

I currently facing battery drain issue on my redmi note 3 pro(special edition global),running miui v8.2.4.Is that possible I downgrade it from miui 8 to miui 7 again???
