The micloud sounds like icloud and this feature had also been questioned that it sends private information of users data to xiaomi servers. The indian air force has even warned xiaomi on the ground that this is a threat to India's national security. Although its unclear how it ended. Don't even talk about competing with the major players lol. Samsung and apple unlike xiaomi has been in the game for a very long time, plus s7 edge has the best design this year. Its a matter of time until some chinese brand implement its design into their product ;p

AnonD-66956, 19 Aug 2016i think they will implement that bcz it so many members has votedIn MIUI 7 too, you can also unlock with volume buttons and if you use a flip cover, you can just open the flip cover and the Redmi Note 3 wakes up but you have to turn on smartcover mode in lockscreen & fingerprint sensor option under settings. I am using an Intex Aqua Fish (rebranded Jolla C) besides my Redmi Note 3, which runs on Sailfish OS 2.0 and has double tap to wake. It's a too good feature and Xiaomi should implement it as soon as possible.

jishnu, 20 Aug 2016in redmi note 3 androied upgradation is possible to marshmellowthere is a news of mm around december but it is not official yet, few claims that they have MM marshmellow build. it is true bcz redmi note 3 special edition is in MM so it will get that, as usuall xaiomi will take huge time but it is time to celebrate miui8 u guys will get over 1gb update so prepare do not press the power key while updating to miui8 just leave ur device in a desk it may take up to 20 minutes.
