Redmi Note 3 is a fantastic smartphone but MIUI updates is pathetic mostly come with a lot of bugs. Perhaps Xiaomi dev team can improvised their works on this MIUI updates, I love this phone but cannot stand the MIUI updates bugs. Please give us a good updates without bugs. Thank You.

But if you mean Redmi Note 4 you are at the wrong place.

True that.. MIUI 8.5.3.0 is the worst ROM ever released.
Here's a list of bugs in MIUI 8.5.3.0
1. Google Play Store Error 492 due to which you can't install or update applications from Play Store.
2. Music Player is very laggy, especially if you have a lot of MP3 files.
3. MKV Video Playback using default video player is laggy as well.
4. USB OTG even if connected, won't show up in file manager app all the time.
I tried downgrading my Redmi Note 3 to MIUI 8.2.4.0 but after completing 50 percent of the process, I came to know that MiFlash Tool isn't supported on Windows XP operating system, so I had to cancel my plan of downgrading to MIUI 8.2.4.0. Unfortunately, there's no new MIUI update and I'm stuck with this buggy MIUI ROM. Desperately waiting for a new update to fix the above mentioned bugs in MIUI 8.5.3.0..

bond07, 01 Aug 2017Released in 2016 and is not eligible to get nougat in 2017.... moreIt's just a 1 year old phone. But still is at par with it's successor (redmi note 4). And i believe they will roll out nougat providing this handset alone made them popular all over th e world. This handset in particular is the most successful phone they've made thus far.

I don't know why Xiaomi sending major buggy updates to every normal user (who has not joined beta testing program). It will be bricking devices.
miui 8.5.3.0 released one month ago now but still in beta stable under testing.
Just forget miui updates and install best rom which running without any bugs on your device. I personally like miui 8.2.4.0, after 17 month miui update experience I don't want to download any new updates.

redmi note 3 at first very good after updated 8.5.3.0 and earlier update also causes many problems charging and automatic rebooting some times when call coonect black screen is coming

It is very old was used by me as satire....i know RN3 is good enough and as mentioned by xiaomi that miui 9 is the lightest, fastest os till now, then in this case, RN3 + miui 9 will be beast.

Xiaomi Note 3, released last year, can not be quoted as very old, the hard side is much stronger than some phones that already have Android 7.
