[deleted post]Not popular in US? Sure, it's because Xiaomi hasn't entered the US market as of yet and aren't aggressive there. As you are probably someone from India, I'm sure you know how popular this phone is here. It always gets out of the stock. Just check a few articles of GSMArena's weekly "Top 10 Ranking Phones" and you can see, the Redmi Note 3 is at number one rank for 8-10 weeks consecutively! As for the brands you mentioned, they might be good for you so why not just use a phone from your favourite brand and be happy instead of whining like a kid on this forum.

Im an owner of both Le 2 and Rn3 i must say the kind of specs and features LeEco provides in Le 2 is unmatch with rn3 though both are same in pricing,processor is much better gaming nba 2k 15 force close on rn3 but on Le 2 it works with smooth gameplay,quick charge 2 is present and lack on rn3,display thanks to incell display on Le 2 the blacks looks deeper whereas purplish on rn3,watching movies is a treat in Le 2 and colors is eye poping and soft on rn3,LE 2 design wise and looks,very stylish and slim,premium and a great masterprice craftmanship cant believe its only 12k phone the stainless steel surround the phone looks really awesome on Le 2,even people in one mobile store i went just stare at my phone ,and one shopkeeper want to hold my phone so i gave him and he said where did you buy this phone it looks great and ask me how much i walked away i just said online,

I think most would simply want a stable rom, without spending time on rooting or even installing 3rd party rom.
Greenify may be a good solution if no rooting is required.

If your phone is under warranty. Take it to the nearest service centre and check what the problem is? and try to avoid from updating your phone in future if you are facing any problem with the updates?

I'm currently on MIUI v7.3.7.0 and there are no major bugs faced by me. It is not necessary to reset your device after an update but it is recommended because after updating some old files in system remain in the system storage which aren't accessible for a normal user and this may create issues and resetting just cleans those files. If you have some knowledge of technology, you'd understand my point.

Anonymous, 25 Jul 2016Even the moderator of Redmi note 3 forum recommend everyone... moreok bro listen carefully, as u r using ur device there are old cache and data present of ur old rom as soon as u update if these things are no wiped during update then u will face such issue mainly caused by conflict with new data and cache made by new rom. if u reset ur device then it will wipe ur old cache and data and new cache, data can persom without any conflict

I am on WiFi.
Troublesome to force stop often.

I am on stable 7.2.5.0(LHOMIDA) and i dont face any issues as you have mentioned above. Instead it is performing brilliantly and i am getting SOT of 12hr 57m 4s with normal usage. Isn't that awesome. Here is my batter usage stats for your reference.
Android System - 18%
UC browser - 18%
Android - 12%
Amazon Shopping - 3%
Phone - 2%
Other - 7%
Screen - 33%
Phone idle- 3%
Please check if this is the same in your phone. Also, I am going to skip all the current updates as i am waiting for 16th August to update MIUI 8 stable update.

If I do not forcestop, 15% of battery will be used up by those apps in 8 hrs of standby.
If I forcestop, only 1% will be used up.
There're original apps come with miui, I've updated Google maps only; others are original apps provided in miui.
Latest stable version, has earphone problem.
Since stable version 7.3.6, there is battery draining.
By reading all the complaints in miui forum, I wouldn't want to update.
