Secondly, about the quick charge, redmi note 3 has quickcharge 1.0 which can be upgraded to 3.0 by software if xiaomi wants so.

Mi Max using the same camera sensor as Redmi Note 3 but its cam quality is better. So obviously the camera can be fixed with software update but Xiaomi don't intend to do so.

They don't release its sources and that's why there are less ROM available for these MediaTek devices. I have used K4 Note for 2 months and all I can say is that the phone sucks in terms of performance and user experience, the only thing that I liked about it is the sound quality which is better than RN3.

My RN3 updated to 7.3.7.0 LHOMIDD a week ago. After the update, I'm facing these issues.
1. Battery drains very quickly.
2. Heating up when charging, using camera, using 3G, playing games.
3. Network keep switching b/w 2G, 3G & 4G if selected prefer 3G mode.
4. Album arts not shown in "album" in music player.
5. Fingerprint reader not work sometime.
6. Volume sliders under volume in sound and vibration in settings are behaving strange when adjusting them.
7. Pixelated effect on white background when pressing the task switcher key.
8. Can see the touch key lighting up in a dark room even when the lighting for the keys are disabled.
9. Camera quality is crap both in daylight and night. Slow motion videos are equally bad. Front camera is also the same crap. My 4999 Rs InFocus M2 takes better pics than my RN3.
With every update, it feels like a downgrade. MIUI developers are noob.
