I use the 2 SIM + microSD mod - use at your own risk!!
I believe most issues experienced here are MIUI related, the hardware seems OK. I will try the MM version of MIUI when its finally released
Whatever you decide, backup the whole device with TWRP especially the EFS

before update(7.2.0).... no lagging , no heating problem at all..
after update(7.3.6).... sometimes lags, heated fast while gaming, and started to heat while browsing and using social network too.....
before update while browsing and using apps.... i didn't feel a slight heating... my phn used to be cold... i was amazed....... is there any way to go back in 7.2.0 ???

Reviews on Redmi note 3...Common problem
SAME PROBLEMS OBSERVED BY DIFFERENT USER AT DIFFERENT LOCATION USING DIFFERENT NETWORK
1.headset issue- wen u plugged a earpiece to listen a song.... Suddenly sounds gets off and have to reboot d phone.
2. Many times we unable to cut d call...after haviNG conversation wid somebody as we click on END CALL, it didnt respond till 2-3 mins.
It shows fone's hanging problem.
3.mic is not sensitive..if v keep fone on some distance from our mouth like 4-5inch. or If v talk on loudspeaker to somebody n place a fone on the table, other person cannot hear oyr voice properly.
4.heating issues.
5.Camera quality not justified.

But the MIUI is a very good UI and feature rich UI.. Research about the UI on the le2 and if you're okay with the screen issues, then you can look forward for it..

Hii frnd I jus got my phone today phone is gud no heating issue at all while charging but I jus face a a problem while connecting my phone to my router manually by adding nwtrk I was unable to connect in first attempt I restarted my phone still got the same thing but after 6 to 7 attempt finally got connected so I just want to know if anybody facing the same issue.

really wanna share a thing.after a week of usagei found rn3 pretty good .as i have used le eco 1s and i was a bit hesitant yo buy rn3 but i started having issues with le1s.i returned it and bought this phone..i really feel this was a gud decision as i le1s has been the worst phone i hv ever used.moreover i wanna comment that camera quality is fine if people are feeling that they r hving issues .it is gud even in low light conditions.

Please help. Worried about phone color. Also note that we can get Le2 @ 10800 compared to 12000 for RN3.

Still, I feel that the performance I get on the note 3 neo was somewhat similar to what I get on the rn3... Both work like charm, the only regret I have is the camera, and (now) the broken screen, rest, redmi note 3 is a charm..
