I got the device... moreCurrently I am charging and using the phone ,it gets warm and due to summer it's much more prominent when you hold it ,it got heated during first charge and first Skype call and also during last update ,but so far it gets warm only during heavy app usage and first 50% of charging ,I didn't face heating issue so far and the lagging only happened mostly during unresponsive app

[deleted post]I purchased 32 GB version on 16th March,there is no network issue so far,my signal strength to s always good unless I am in lift or basement

bought this on flash sale on 20th April..
I got the device on saturday noon...after 3 full days of use i find the heating issue to be the biggest drawback on this one...when the device is getting charged it was getting so much heated. there is also some heating when the device is in use when not charged .
there was a bit of lag encountered but this was never troublesome enuf for me...minor software errors also encountered but this again is ignorable..
overall, apart from the heating issue this device looks to be totally worth
I hope that I wont get into bigger issues after using this device long enuf!!

It takes 2.5 hrs to fully charge from 0% to 100%, and the battery has 4000 mah.
The phone comes quick charge 1.0.
It's definitely slow if compare to phone which has quick charge 3.0.

i am using it 32gb variant i am from india.. i notice that there is a network issue with redmi note 3. the call drops and even voice get drop even i am on open area. i try with 3g also but voice drop every time, i am on latest stable version of 7.2.3 . i also find that this problem with docomo 2g-3g both bsnl also the telenor as well as reliance but vodafone and airtel idea working fine, so i think the strong network operator working great on this model but the above below strong struggling in this handset. this is the major bug in this device. and there are almost 50% and above people live in the village. so i suggest that dont buy this handset it is struggling in network department. there is no update till get for resolve the problem. hope mi find the solution. till date the network issue in this handset is the major problem

Just received RN3 16gb gold... hope it work at its best....@ 9999/- with given configuration ...if it really works the then samsung,sony.... will have to bite their nails.. Good luck to buyers...yah

Got this Redmi Note 3 last 2 weeks for my mother birthday present.
Tested with wifi turn on, battery last more than 2 days usage.
GPS working fine, no heating issue when play temple run and some other games.
My mum love the MIUI Lite theme, which interface almost alike to window OS.
Impressive photos quality taken using RN3, had been improve a lot compare to the Mi3 that i used for 2 years till now.

Dual Sim problem is there. You cannot use 2nd SIM and SD card together. Because sim and card slor is same. (But there is no need of SD card as there is sufficient internal storage of 16 GB/ 32GB, memory card will be rarely used)
Rest of the features are good. I'm happy to buy this phone.
