the phone gets unusually hot while charging...this seems to be a major issue with this phone...and the camera also not up to the mark when compared to Redmi 2 prime..

Then, the most important different would be the screen resolution or screen ppi.
Recommending using phone with 2K screen resolution, IPS LCD screen, around 5.5", at least 534ppi for the best VR experience. Or Sony's Z5 Premium 806ppi.
The RN3 screen with 1080p, 401ppi is not good enough for VR (I tried with RN2), lots of visible pixelate, not even come close to phone with 2K screen.
Then, phone like Samsung S7 Edge with fake 2K screen also not good for VR, all blame to their AMOLED Pentile pixel arrangement, which actually reducing half of the resolution ppi as seen in their own VR gear. Then, due to AMOLED also, the individual subpixel are much more easier visible than the the LCD screen, making their VR screen fidelity only very slightly better than 1080p, 401ppi LCD screen.

As I'm a hard core user too. SD 615 is nothing near SD650. SD 650 performs too great. Never heats to be honest. I have bought this phone and just sold it like last week and it was a perfect phone except the front camera. Seriously the best phone around 12k range. Don't think twice to grab this phone if your budget is 12k-14k. I repeat it's a perfect phone except the front camera. Maybe I just didn't like the front camera coz I have changed about 10 phones this year xD .

F... morewhat are you saying ? redmi note 3 outshines le 1s in benchmarks ,i am not talking about the ram,the processor is much better than the one in le 1s ,in china people who bought redmi note 3 which has the same mediatek chipset like le 1s are upgrading to redmi note 3 snapdragon 650 which is called pro version and redmi note 3 will be upgraded to marshmallow soon,while le 1s doesn't have any info regarding this and last but not least redmi note 3 have their dedicated service centers
