If it was me, i'll choose more gpu power. I believe snapdragon 650 is more balanced

hexacore is 1 set of lower freq quadcore and 1 set of higher freq dual core.
normally only quadcore is functioning. for bigger task like gaming dual core is also utilized.
650 is powerful chip. total benchmark for redmi note 3 pro is 75k.

I bought the zte nubia z9 mini as an alternative and quite satisfied with it. It's got nice desgin, superb camera, good enough battery, excellent display. Im not a heavy gamer so the SD 615 is more than enough and unlike on other phones doesn't overheat.

This is worth the wait .. i bought it yesterday feb 14 and all i can say this is almost perfect i diddnt expect that front cam would be good enough like my lg g4 before.. when it comes to performance its very good i can run all apps smoothly and no lags .. battery is very good also screen on time with wifi and playing games gave me 6 hrs and 30 mins far compare to my mi3 which was almost 4hrs of sot ... one thing i like most about this phone is despite of having a powerful processor i didnt experienced any heat like my one plus two before and lg g4 thats all i can isay for now by the way im from philippines and bought it through an online seller ..

this is powerful cpu. but no glass protection . why fingerprint scanner on back side ? they spoiled it.
