no you can not get OTA update with that version, you need to do manual upgrade in to 7.1.8.0 version.

bought a Redmi note 3 even though I'm based in the U.K., seemed ok, but having downloaded the app Malwarebytes, which checks for unwanted malware, it found 2 malware/Trojans in the Chinese pre-loaded apps which cannot be removed, I've had to disable the apps, ( quick search box and DC Share) but now I'm worried if its going to infect my computer if I connect up to it, makes me wonder if there's any other deep down bug on the phone! Think I'll get rid!
