Guys need help wanna buy Redmi note3 ..if i buy chines version and install Third party OS for Global Version, after that if the global version officially released can i update to Global version Via OTA??

it will help abit...not alot tho..
my phone signal when im using global rom, it's quite bad too...poor signal reception..

george_00, 13 Jan 2016still no available international ROM for xiaomi redmi note 3?I have it for 5 days ... pcitures are good, with signal may have some issues in my country Romania, but now insert second sim, both 4G but one from RDS LTE connexion it stay more on 3G or H+ but these is a network issue.
Baterry is ok, at least 2 days on normal utilization with display at half, and a 1 - 2 hour of playing / day. charging fast, at 2 hour max (depends on... procent 20%...etc) .. most issue i have with it are some leftover chineze shortcut in inbuilt broswer and on ringtone page, both send to chineze website and by a miracle they show 4 buttons on that page and one of them means: LOCAL RINGTONE -- but wtited in chinese ...
Phone has some lag in some application and browser but is not important, we msut keep in mind is android with java applications who eat CPU and RAM at breakfast.
Nest problem is tha i am forced to use a default theme without APPLICATIOn button down on the bar and i installed GO launcher to resolve that and these app use 128 Mb ram at least.The firmware is in many languages including my country: Romania. The MUIU 7 soft is beautiful and simple as is at Iphone, they try to not give access to application installed directly.
Third annoying thing is the MI App and Drive who force to connect to new account to utilize the phone contacts but i wanna use only gmail account and PROBABLY will do that today couse i jsut received the second microsim who has been regiestered to my gmail account.
With default theme almost no lag, even on inbuilt browser.
Fingerprint is ok and fast.
The Led is very good.
Iphone 5 and 6s may be faster with no lag but they use HD resolution ON THERY SMALL DISPLAY and no java software, and a simpler firmware with few applications.
I antutu benchmark it points 50677 points of performance settings and in Balanced: 46000 points. (3D 13012 points; UX 15886, CPU 15811; RAM 5968);
After shut down the phone it keeps rememeber the opened software and can reopen fast ...these is a good thing now shouing 1,8GB free of RAM
Go launcher is bestial on effects and slides and short-cuts ...
The Settings button remain the same = identical with original theme, and is very good structured and orginized.
OverALL is a good phone with big display and nice colors, battery, fingerprint, cpu, ram, etc....

Now lenovo going to come out k5 note to compete with xiaomi. Huawei, lenovo, xiaomi, if u heard me, who ever fastest to produce these exact phone spec into smallest frame will be the winner. Honor 7 came close but not compact enough. Stop producing models with what plus or what note. Im one of many users out there that waiting for a great specs handy compact phone from your brand. Not plus size phone which 2……………………………………………………CM longer than my office shirt pocket.

Bought it one week ago.....awesome phone...camera is good,speed awesome....overall best phone within the budget
