I am note 4 user . Worst phone . Many many many issue i found .
1) music player stucks
2) vocie issue mike issue
3) heating problem

Got it like 5 months ago and I use it a lot because it works as a satnav in the car. Not even one problem so far but I regret not getting the 4GB RAM version, 3GB seem like just enough as it fills nearly full really quickly.
Also in 2 hotter days in July even though it was not placed under direct sunlight in the car I had 45*C temperature warning and alert for power off to cool down. Took like 30sec to be ok again. Otherwhise no issues and runs smooth.
Some people also say it gets hot (in general) true but rear cover is made from aluminum working partially as a radiator for fast cooling. Sometimes it gets "warm" but not like super hot. This 45*C issue appeared when it was around 38*C outside and it was lying for a bit in the car.
I was comparing it with S7 edge and overall Note 4 performed faster. S7 had some lags that didnt appear in Note 4 when switching between some running apps.
Overall I recommend it because for normal everyday use including navigation it runs enjoyably smooth all the time and has nice big screen. Quality of the housing is good as well, after wiping with a cloth 5 months later it looks like brand new. Maybe Android 7.0 will never arrive on it but still nothing better for that money.

As we compare this phone to other in price , then it is good. but bad customer service at service centre.
common problems are listed below
1 If u use another brand earphone than it will damage microphone and speaker (software problem)
2 charger port problem (most common) or Cable problem. cable will loose fit after some weeks,
3 Bad display toughness. it will broke easily,
4 Many MI store has not enough accessary like cable, cover etc.
5 Bad MI solution by their executive, they will not repair anything, they always try to replace the parts.

dont purchase thise phone becoz no gorila glass protection and some month after this phone occur lots of problem

I was actually so happy about this product note 4, but after a month I saw some bug issues...
But now after 3 and half month I'm facing some break between playing songs even my friends using the same phone facing this problem..it's really sucking to use this..
Please fix the bug by your next update. And make it soon...
Problem - break about 1sec while playing songs..

I am Redmi note 4 user. 4gb ram... After updating of MIUI Global 8.5/stable 8.5.4.0(NCFMIED).All features are super but After updating music player is struck during song playing. all Songs are struck sometimes. Before update i have not this problem. Please Give a suitable solution. as soon as possible.. pls.

I don't understand why my hand set suddenly become off and after sometimes it become on again. It takes about few minutes sometimes. Maybe rebooting automatically. Please suggest me what to do..

Bought the phone thru lazada in september 2016 ,it was my 2nd Mi phone after redmi note 3,to be honest it was performing greatly, been with me in and out of jungle,waterfall,beaches and even mountain. Had been dropped numerous time as well, only changed the screen protector 2 times for nearly a year using it. The IpS Screen suits my activity and camera is quite Good.
There was a problem last time since updating when there was arelease of update effecting my 3g data services. As from my experience of previous mi phone, i will get onto the forum and read posting of people updating new software or os upgrade. Manage to overcome the issue from the mi forum community. my advice is for those who are new to Mi,do some readings from the Mi community forum of update release or bug , before pressing on the update button. The phone would last longer with less updating in my experience.

It's a good phone. I was kinda disappointed because the snapdragon version got 7.0 update, but now I'm happy with it. Install epic rom. Way better performance, battery and options.

I have a redmi mi note 4 last one month problem of network and voice are not clear both side when i connected a call when i move other side the voice is breaking... a asked sim customer care he told sim and network is ok.problem of ur phone...same sim if any otherliked phone the problem have been resolved...plz tell me what is the problem ....if any gays are fessing problem tell me...
