Maybe you will have to unlock the phone first. For unlocking use this site
http://en.miui.com/unlock/
You have to ask for unlock permissions from MIUI team. Not sure, but I think you can only unlock the phone with the account that is logged in on the phone.

Update went infinite loop.Cannot enter recovery mode,fastboot and whatsoever. Hope the geeks out there could give some tips for solving this problem asap.

Received the phone 2 days ago and phone showing got MIUI update.. I forgot what is the exact version but it got show "Stable" .. I click the update... The file download about 1.3 or 1.5GB... After finish download, the phone showing reboot to apply update...
After the phone reboot, MI logo appear and showing "Updating MIUI, dont reboot the device" ... At this moment, the phone keep reboot and showing the same thing... Keep reboot and showing the same thing after 1 hour..
Search online for hard reset or recovery by pressing power + volume button but cannot go in the recovery mode.... Anyone facing this or anyone got suggestion how to fix this...

I already have some minor scratches visible only at an certain angle and light. Btw is this glass/lcd laminated or is there some gap inbetween?

Redmi 4 & Note 4 design is exact from lenovo phones.
Most Lenovo phones have a unique design. (K5 note, k3 note , A6000 etc).
Looking from sides/bottom shows it.

We can't predict picture clarity by comparing MPs.
Sensor, Software & lens determines clarity.
Whatever, 16MP of Note3 is worst than 8 MP redmi2
