With update 9.0.7.0 i can tell u bro, the battery life is as awesome as i was used ROOTED RN3 PRO, but i dont need root for RN4X. I RECOMEND U, REDMI.NOTE 4X SNAPDRAGON

I also have this. Everything is fine all the features are superb except for its audio while using earphone. The other party thought that you are inside a well. Audio sounds like a broken tin can

hi redmi note 4x guys, someone pls help me decide. I badly want to buy this phone, but am a little bit afraid. Reason is, in my country on my local online seller, there are different suppliers of this phone...now some are selling it at around 130USD while some are selling upto a whopping 300USD. i noticed the cheaper one is indicated 'By Generic' and its name is 'Xiao-mi' and when you search for it from both Mi and Xiaomi filters you won't get it but you will find it under a category indicated as Generic! All specs are just indicated as the same and even the appearance and color. They also spot the Mi log on the back both of them. Could there be imitations of this phone out there plz? someone help. Note that its an oversees buy as indicated on the site meaning when I order is when they import for me to my country,Kenya.

If you have the Snapdragon version you can go up to 7.0 Nougat, but if you have the MTK version, 6.0 Marshmellow is the maximum. A lot of stores sell the 4X with an MTK processor.

Note 4X uses LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 5(850), 7(2600), 38(2600), 39(1900), 40(2300), and 41(2500). Note 4 global edition uses LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 20(800), 38(2600), and 40(2300).

or they're different! .
