Freeman70, 03 Jul 2017Hands down, the Redmi Note 4x is a great phone for the pric... moreno way you can compare this to s7.. i upgrade from mi5 to s7 edge and the difference is like day and night.. specially in the camera department. the price difference is justifiable considering the better optics and display :)

Hands down, the Redmi Note 4x is a great phone for the price. After coming from using a Samsung Galaxy S7, I don't really miss anything. Sure, the AMOLED screen and the camera on the S7 are really good but this Xiaomi phone excels at being a good all rounder. I am more impressed at what Xiaomi gives us for US$200 than what Samsung gives us for US$600 to US$800.

I don't see the point of 8gb smartphones like the 1+5, it's overkill

I w... moreDepends,I suggest you get the 3gb version and in 1 or 2 years switch phones but if you want to keep it more,3gb version is just fine since you said you won't use it for heavy gaming.Get 4gb for heavy multi-tasking tho

I installed Battery doctor for fast charging and for some reason whenever it reaches 82%, its just stuck!! it never complete the charge to 100%! so I deleted the app and thank goodness its back to normal now :)

Should I buy the 4gb ram version for "future proofing"? I will not use it for heavy gaming, just multitasking. I think the 3gb version is the best bang for the buck right now, but will it become too obsolete in 2-3 years (compared to the 4gb version)?
