The only problem I encountered in this phone is the unresponsive touchscreen like sometimes it doesn't register the touches and when scrolling instead of a scroll it will tap many times in a sliding direction and I think it gets worse every time but overall phone is good

(and mi max). i use the three of them everyday before. but now my choice are note5 ai and mi max only (though i am planning to replace my mi max with max 3) and gave my j7 pro to my wife as this redmi note 5 ai is just better most of the time, even in terms of software. but this is just an opinion from an owner of the two phones.

for those who are asking about the camera of this phone, rear and front cams are great and one of the bests among its category and price range. even my friends let me take our group photos especially during night outs, even though they have a more expensive phones. Just don't expect a flagship quality because it is not. you have to shell more money for that.
i've been using mine for 2 months already and so far i have not encountered any problems yet.

I had my old LG Nexus 5 for three and a half years, fell from my pocket and my hands while standing numerous times, and screen never broke. I have this Xaomi for 13 days, it fell out of my pocket today, while sitting, for the first time, and there is a line from the power button to the proximity sensor. I've been keeping it in default case, which is even thicker then the one I've been keeping my old one in, but it's obviously useless.

Hi. Who have this model. Written quick charge 3.0. How minutes need for full charge. 0-100% or 5-95%?? With quick charge 3.0 or quick charge 2.0 charger (original furm not 3-4$)

I have been using this phone for 07 days.till now, the phone is just fine for the price. Front and rear camera are very good, good display, great battery, miui running fast and smooth, fast fingerprint, audio department would have been better but its ok. Good job xiaomi.

Just got mine (blue, 64GB) today. Everything seems quite good except low volume level through 3.5mm jack. I hope Xiaomi will come up with software update to improve the loudness soon.
