This one is it. This is what Xiaomi should be doing. The 13mp front camera is more than enough with selfie flash the rear is what mostly impresses here it's the same sensor like the meizu m6 note. It has great picture quality. This is now the budget king not the Indian version Note 5 Pro. I feel like they are cheated here.

The Chinese Redmi Note 5 is an upgraded Redmi Note 5 Pro available in India. Why not use usb type c as it is an upgraded version?

better camera (portrait mode, AI, f/1.9, 1.4 μm, BUT hate beautify), excellent battery life (8hours plus SOT), outstanding performance (though audio call quality as not good as expected ), astonishing display (viewing angle is quite satisfactory, but there is a chance to easily break the screen as it is extra wide ), but the main concern is the durability of Chinese phones.

xiaomi is showing partiality with this phone between china and india.
in china model they have great software version and cameras and quick charge 3.0
but indian model they lacks these features

I've looked through the product page on Mi China and Taobao. Nothing on those pages say anything about Android 8 (Oreo). Can anybody confirm that it is indeed going to be released on Oreo?
