If Nokia sells phones at the price xiaomi is selling they will run out stock on regular basis because of high demand..
but they won't and instead sells overpriced phones.

If build quality , brand value etc was more important people would have still bought Nokia windows phones...and Nokia would have survived
but Nokia just couldn't embrace android and decided to stuck windows and went downhill
even nokia's brand value, build quality couldn't save them.
i hope Nokia learned their lesson

Still I don't see it justifying purchase of an Iphone X or a Samsung N8 just because they have the best specs in a phone. The issue is you are comparing a phone that cost half what you are suggesting. Why don't you try comparing your Nokia 7 to a Xiaomi Mi 6. They are about the same price. It will be quite clear your Nokia specs are quite below a Mi 6 yet they are selling at the same price. Reading opinions here, I would agree on certain observations. Nokia is still overpricing their products. Their days of dominating the cellular phone market had simply gone past.

this phone performance almost better than Galaxy Note 5 soc ( 2015)
with 1/4 of Galaxy note 5 price....
No samsung phone can beat at this price level..
Snap636 > exynos 7420 > Snap625 >exynos 7870
Xiaomi sell Snap 636 for just €180....( its soo cheap )

Plus quality is definitely better on Nokia phones compared to xiaomi. Comes with carl zeiss optics zoom, fast charge, type c, stereo speakers etc. And they have to pay taxes too in order to sell them for different countries, not only online but also vendors and marketing ads too. So adding all these things up, the price is justified.

its sad that Nokia still has not learned any lessons from their past ....their new devices are overpriced and simply selling on brand value...Nokia should realise that its not a dominant force anymore(but Samsung is) and they are trying to make a comeback..so they should lower their prices and capture the market and take the crown back from Samsung and Apple
but its sad Nokia is still 'greedy'
