On tha link author has explain which chipset is the best first SD660, second SD636, third SD630, fourth SD626 and lastly is SD625. All phone expert said SD636 is much better than SD630 on all expect either its processing power, cpu, gpu, camera, modem or battery life. One more thing SD630 are not so popular to OEM only few device been produced with SD630. SD630 is an upgrade of SD626 also an upgrade of SD625 but SD636 is a different story. Me and the rest of the world still stand on the fact that the SD636 is much, much, much better compare to SD630.

Did you notice a fact in the table stated by you. Everything is compared except 636. When it comes to evaluating a mobile processor the following things are considered:

      1. Number of cores and their speed
      2. RAM supported
      3. GPU efficiency
      4. Version of Bluetooth supported
      5. WiFi standard
      6. Efficiency of Modem
      7. Camera
      and Video capture
      8. Display support
      9. Processor's thermal coefficient*
      10. Collective efficiency when all the above summed up

      What I'd like to confirm again is that 660 is the best of all. Next to 660 is the 630. I do not mean to say that 636 is bad but, 630 is better than 636 and 660 is better than 630. In short, how worthy it would be to have a Redmi Note 5 with Qualcomm's 660 is my question. Moreover, do we need a Android N device again from Xiaomi. It is not enough that it gets updated to Oreo but should've been released with Oreo out of the box to support Google's Project Treble.

            u see where im getting at right? despite cost reduction, mostly its marketing strategy, if RN5P has the same body to screen ratio as mi mix2, then the sales of mi mix2 would be a downhill, if lg q6 has the same body to screen ratio as lg v30, then v30 sales would be a downhill. slimmer bezel only available for a flagship series, for marketing purposes

            surely u dont expect the flagship one has thicker bezel than the midranger, right? beside the power and performance that flagship has to offer, their appearance is the first thing people associate the item to, thats why every phone producer has to make flagship appearance looks better than the midranger

                Take for example two processors Qualcomm 625 and 626. From the spec sheet 626 is more powerful than 625. But 626 isn't found on many devices. Why? 625 is a proven chip though it is outdated. The power of the modem of 625 is lesser when compared to 630 and 636. 625 incorporates X9 modem whereas 630 and 636 incorporates X12. Instead of going for 636 Xiaomi should have opted for 630 or 660. The results from the camera would be higher with the 630 and 660. Moreover, instead of going in for two variants the Note 5 and the Note 5 Pro a single Note 5 with the 660 and with Android Oreo would've boosted Xiaomi's credibility in the long run. I value credibility to profits. Anyhow, Good Luck Xiaomi.

                            Hello readers, those who would like to know the reason behind Xiaomi's decision to go for Qualcomm 636 instead of 630; First of all 636 is built using Qualcomm's own Kyro cores which makes the chip cheaper to produce than 630. They limited the power of the Kyro cores to the minimum just to maintain heat levels, the reason behind not supporting 4k. Moreover, the camera reception using 630 is higher than 636. Estimating the sales figures of Redmi note 4, Qualcomm might have negotiated huge quantity discounts with Xiaomi with which Xiaomi can incorporate 636 in their upcoming devices too. Quality is compromised for cost. Actually, the fact is that 630 is more powerful than 636 in all respects. In-spite-of all this, I should agree that this is a budget smartphone and it is justified for the price, probably if the glass is a Gorilla, if the camera is as good as Mi A1 and presuming it would receive an Android Oreo update.

Go to Sony Xperia XA2 ultra spec sheet and start comparing everything between 630 and 636. Find out the differences between Kyro and Cortex cores, their speeds, etc. For your information, some of the facts all always hidden like secret societies. You have to reason it out yourself. Take it or leave it. Don't call anyone stupid, without knowing your own abilities. We can learn more only if we learn to be humble. Good Luck.

I had to change note 4 motherboard twice and battery thrice. As per my experience Samsung is no good and very expensive.
