Huawei honor , it's hardware is good.. But in mattr of software it's EMUI is worse. After 1 year they even not look about the customer..
Xiaomi is far better than honor..
Xiaomi's hardware as well as software is owesum.. Its Miui provide regular update even in old mobile.. That's why I prefer xiaomi.. And it's chip is very common snapdragon.. And can be easily flashable to any custom rom..
Huawei use its own special kirin chip.. Which do not support or may support but very difficulty to flash custom rom, like resurrection remix, cyanogen....
Now I am using honor 4c.. And I got too much irritated of its update.. Although my Android version is updated.. But many gud feature are removed.. They provide update earlier than other brand but only it's Android version is increase not features only basis feature is given..
Now I am finally going to shift to xiaomi note 5 pro.. Because of it's chip snapdragon 636.. And regular update MiUi

if the money is not your problem then definately... moremore ram doesn't mean smoother performance....anything above 3gb ram will be useless if you just use couple of basic apps. SD636 is not very powerful like most people think just because of kryo . 4GB ram is enough , for 6gb ram you won't see any better performance because SD636 is mid range
Remember here kryo is entry level version 260 only not those present in flagships. also GPU is just A509 while much older SD652 had A510. That means performance will be more or less like SD652 found in Le2 earlier. only battery will be increased as its 14nm.
6gb might have make sense if storage also increased to 128gb. as its hybrid sim , some people could have opt for 128gb but just for 2gb ram 2K extra price doesn't worth .
and hold down. don't you think there should be a base variant of 3gb/32gb too ? in april 2018 xiaomi will launch that variant at 11999 and reduce note 5 4/64gb price to 10999. discontinue whole note 4 series.
