      After MIUI 10 Update, we can use the option of 1080p@60FPS option in Redmi Note 5 Pro.
      Android Pie 9 will come soon, Beta testing of the same is in Progress.

However if we use the phone very less and battery lasts 2-3 days then the SOT may further reduce as some of battery is consumed by standby mode.

                    It has been 5 months since I bought this phone. Nice phone. It gives the SOT of 11 hours.

                      On my old Redmi 2, i was able to personalise the notifications for many apps (e.g. facebook, gmail, local apps) instead of getting just the generic notification tone. In fact, even in gmail, i was able to personalise the notification tone for each folder. But it seems i'm unable to do so on the Note 5. Apart from being able to do so in Whatsapp, i can't figure why it won't allow it on this phone. I don't imagine it's an app problem - it's too many apps for it to be a coincidence. So, any suggestions on what in my hardware needs to be tweaked to allow this?

                        I bought this phone to replace my Redmi 2. Alas, both phones have horrible GPS tracking, which often fails to accurately follow me when i track my workouts on the fitness app. Pity. I had hoped Xiaomi would have improved this with its newer models.

Once theres cut-out it gets in the way all the time and requires capable software to layer a black rectangle when playing media.
                              For me theres every reason. And the second one being just as important - kernel sources.
