Redmi Note 5 is expected to release on Q2 let it may be April . but it first launch in China. Last time difference in redmi note 4 launch in China and India is 6 months. i.e it will launch in India..... think yourself. As per present policy after 2 months of launch of redmi5p there is no official announcement of launch in India.

Xiaomee redmi note 5 is coming at the end of February.it will come with two variants one with 3gb ram and snapdragon 630 and other one with 4gb ram and snapdragon 636.

wow, sd 636 is use kryo 260 technology like sd 660 , this chipset better than sd 625 and sd 630.

Also almost all the tech expert and website said RN5 is R5P rename. Xiaomi too are very quiet with RN5 only little tips about RN5 launch this February from their FB and Twitter. So if U really have friend that work with Xiaomi than ask him/her about the specs at least for few details.
