AnonD-712586, 29 Nov 2017Your so right why xiaomi should go the trend of bezel less ... moreBezel less is the future of smartphones and the future is now. It is the ridiculous scrawny 18:9 aspect ratio which is a bummer. Most smartphones should have bezel less display but with the normal 16:9 aspect ratio. I just don't get it with the reduced bezels, cell phones are already thin why make it thinner and ugly by making it 18:9. The original Mi mix screen was almost perfect with the bezel less 17:9 aspect ratio.

Iam really glad that the redmi 5 plus is Gona sport the low end snapdragon 625 which make way for the redmi note 5 to be more powerful mid high end device and it only means we might finally see the true and worthy successor of the redmi note 3 after two years hiatus with the latest power efficient sd 636 or even the beast incarnate 660.

Notice the advice of others that posting . ( Do you read the opinions of others ؟؟)
using snapdragon 636 or 660 for redmi note 5 is very important
Now , Most middle-range phones use Snapdragon 660 or 636 or 630 from early 2018
The biggest mistake xiaomi use of snap 625
That if it is true, it's really unfortunate urea...

Musang King, 29 Nov 20171080x2160 pixels resolution that Redmi Note 5 rumored to us... moreI agree with Mr. Musang King according to qualcomm snapdragon official website only few processor support FHD+ resolutions (1440x2160 pixels) or 18:9 ratio display such as SD450, SD636, all SD65X series, SD660 and all SD8XX series so xiaomi redmi note 5 will come with mentioned sd series. All others news are Rumour .......

Wow, do they have other processors in the company, or they have only SD 625? All the models come with this. It is a good one, but there are the new 630 and 660 out for quite a long time, come on...And this 18:9 ratio is handy to hold - but really sucks for reading content. Why do every company has to go with the Samsung and Apple ''trend''?

If Oneplus and Essential can bring us phones with Snapdragon 835 for 450$ - 500$ then Xiaomi could bring us Snapdragon 660 for 200$ - 250$. They did it with Note 3 why not again ...

1080x2160 pixels resolution that Redmi Note 5 rumored to use needs at least chipset that support FHD+ resolutions (1440x2160 pixels) which not all Snapdragon chipset support it. The chipset that supports this type of resolution is SD450, SD636, all SD65X series, SD660 and all SD8XX series.

But for 1080x2160 FHD+ resolution the SD625 cannot support its because SD625 resolution support limit to 1080x1920 FHD. So I still doubt about SD625 will powered Redmi Note 5 and the best way is waiting for the official launch for the actual Redmi Note 5 specs.

Looks like the low end powerless chip snapdragon 625 has been made pretty much official once again after the nightmare we witnessed in Mi Max 2 and MiA1. This one's Gona be a disaster for sure. Iam finally giving up on redmi note 5 unless there's a change of plan.
